How do you cope with 6 weeks old baby who refuses to settle after feeding? She would whine and struggle when I try to put her down. She refuses to be on a rocker and even baby swing. She would stay inside for awhile before she starts whining again. So far only baby carrier works. She would initially struggle for awhile before she settles and sleeps inside the carrier.

Maybe you can try settling her down in a room that is away from the hustle and bustle of people and activity. Dim the room's lights or draw the curtains to stimulate a night-time atmosphere. My friend says this works because her baby is easily distracted by things around her. Removing distractions allow her baby to relax faster and eventually fall asleep without much fuss.

I've been swaddling my LO because she seems to sleep better when swaddled. She's currently 3 months old. When can I stop swaddling and transit to sleeping gown? Or is there a specific time when I should stop swaddling her?

Haha they will let you know when they don't want to be swaddle. Maybe when you want to start it. can try in the morning when she is napping and increase till you don't need to swaddle. that might help. every baby is different

My 15 weeks old baby girl has been trying to commando crawl recently and I am getting really worried. Any tips/ advices to ensure that she is not over exerting or hurting herself in the process?

Which formula milk are mommies/ daddies here giving to your LO? Any reviews? I'm going to stop breastfeeding soon due to health reasons, so looking for formula milk for my LO. TIA!

friso is good. my niece is taking it and loves it. i myself is taking frisomum for now. no added sugar plus it has a nice vanila smell to it

My newborn boy has a tongue tie. Anyone had any experience with getting it clipped?

Both my girls had theirs snipped, one with sterile scissors and the other with laser, both by dental surgeons. It's best to do it as young as possible as it's very easy and they don't remember anything.

my twins have sweaty palms and feet... they are coming 3 months old now. should I be concerned?

Do you constantly have them swaddled, covered up? Do they also pespire in AC? My LO also pespires - but less when in aircon room

Should I keep my breastfed baby upright after feeding? She is 2 months old.

Most of my friends mentioned that unless your baby has reflux, there is no real need to keep baby in an upright position after feeding. If you prefer to do that, 10-15 mins should suffice I think.

Feels so alone on this feeding and weaning journey .. Baby is 6.5 months old.. Past 1 week I've been trying to prepare fruit and veggie purees to feed him .. But he swallow some and some will be pushed out of his mouth .. Jus now try to feed him carrot cod fish porridge , after a few mouthfuls , he started to cry and refuse .. I thought once they start solids they will open their mouth, gum the food and swallow but apparently it is not .. More difficult than I imagine .. Spent so much time to prepare the food but end up some on his bib and floor and he probably only ate 10%.. Quite disheartened.. And feels I'm very clueless on how to go on with this weaning process.. Am I the only one with baby so difficult to feed? Everyone's baby will open their mouth, receive the food in their mouth and swallow then next mouthful again ? Or what I'm experiencing is normal in weaning and feeding ? Any advice will be good too as I'm a first time mom with no help :(

Please dont feel bad. My son whom is now 3yo is still giving me headache every meal. Since young, he refused fruits and veges purees, porridge, and many other things I make for him. I felt totally disappointed like you. Now, as time flies, I am more immuned to his rejection of food. What he can't finish, I will eat it to avoid food wastage. Picky eaters will get better as they grow up I hope. You are not alone mummy

Hi FTM here my LO always makes this 'gek-ing' noises ( face turns red and hands clenched with legs either extended or flexed) since about 2 to 3 weeks old. She is currently 6 weeks old. It is as though she is constipated n trying to fart or poop. But her stools are regular and yellow pasty stools, not hard or explosive at all. It affects us as when she sleeps after BF, if we put her down early before deep sleep, she will make these noises intermittently 5 to 10 min later and wake up crying 30min to 1 h later. My mum n CL says its very normal but wondering if other babies are like that too? If she sleeps in my arms, less of these noises happen but when she is cranky, they are full blown and only relieved with suckling at my breast or pacifier. Otherwise she is feeding and gaining weight well!

Have not heard any bad reviews of him even though I don't take my child to him. Can see all here are good reviews too.
