Any review of star learners at Tanjong Pagar?

Even I have heard only good reviews about star learners in general. Not too sure about the Tanjong Pagar branch.

just wondering if is it a must to go to the pd that was assigned to us from the hospital ? She wanted us to go to her 3 days after we discharge but we were not super comfortable with her.

No you can go to any PD after discharge or you can go to Polyclinic if you want to. :)

When my newborn is back for first few days everything is well sleeping in the baby cot. After that, she got a habit of ppl carrying and sleeping downstairs instead. How do I ensure the routine is back to sleeping in the baby cot? Please advise I don't wish to make it a habit that she will she sleeping downstairs at the sofa every now and then with people carrying her in the arms.

Maybe you can consider getting a day cot for the downstairs room? This way, if she does fall asleep downstairs, you can place her in that cot which is a similar environment to her usual baby cot. This will get her used to the idea of sleeping in the "right place" and hopefully not disrupt her sleeping patterns.

The folks at home advised me to sleep while my LO sleeps so that I don't can get enough rest. Anyone tried? My 2month old sleeps for an hour or so each round in the day and I find it almost impossible to sleep when my LO sleeps, and i feel more tired to wake up from short naps. Plus I seem to have endless things to do when she sleeps! Also, they advised that I don't let her sleep in the day so that she can sleep for a longer period at night. Does it really work cos I thought infants sleep most of the time! Thanks.

My lo is 4 months old and he's having hiccups twice everyday. Should I be concern and bring him to the PD?

Don't need to be too concern over the hiccups. Usually it is due to air being taken in during breastfeeding or bottle feed. As we usually burp the baby after each feeding, so it should be ok.

Anyone knows what's this? And how to cure it? It's been there since the hospital stay for my newborn.

Is it only on the neck? If you see the same on back and tummy, then could be chicken pox..

How to make sure my helper is a good educational influence on our baby?

I ask my helper to sing nursery rhymes for my little girl and read big alphabet books with her....she see that I always do it when I at home she learn and do the same... my helper also teach my 3 years old when he's at home if he never go childcare how to write numbers and alphabet and read books to him.... I also ask her to on educational show for them... I will print matching colouring and shapes worksheet she will do with them....

Start with real food and fresh food, cheap and easy to make.
