My 7mo baby feels extremely hot even during the cool monsoons, is there a home remedy to keep him cool?

Keep your baby hydrated. Increase his intake of water. Keep feeding him water sips every now and then when he is awake. When massaging use oils with care. Oil massage can give baby rash. Some oils have hot traits. Use cold oils like; olive and coconut oil. Some use gulab jail or multani mitt paste on baby and wash it after 10 minutes. Limit the use of talcum powder and can use prickly heat powder instead. But baby's skin is very tender so do not indulge in home remedies unless you are too sure.

What is the best age to introduce non-veg to my baby? And how should I give it to him? He is 7mo right now.

I started giving my daughter egg/chicken when she was 7 mo. Whatever you give him, make sure the meat is mashed really well — test it by pressing it with your thumb and index finger. Without teeth, young kids are at a risk of getting choked, hence it's not recommended to give them big pieces.

You can try a few lifestyle changes to help a infant with acid reflux: - Raise the head of the baby's crib or bassinet - Hold him upright for 30 minutes after a feeding - Thicken his bottle feedings with cereal (ask your doctor before you try this) - Change his feeding schedule - Try giving him solid food (with your doctor's OK) Hope it helps!

Hi, my 15month LO started fresh cow's milk for the past few weeks & I notice she having hard time to poo & it's really hard poop. Question is does it means she is not suitable for cow's milk? Should I switch to FM or what's the alternative?

Try give them some fruits that help with digestive like avocado, prunes, papaya etc. Give them sometimes to adapt to a new change.

My baby she is 7 months old ,past 1 month she is suffering from allergic like small pimples around the dipper wear, I asked dr. Many times she used to change the creams offen but no use ,is this a food allergy or dipper allergy ? Can anyone help me on this?

u can try desitin (blue) quit good on rash.. work well on my baby

Hi all, I've been DLing my boy and he's coming to 6 months. I'm wondering if it's possible for us to skip bottles altogether and go straight for sippy cups. Is that possible for a 6mo? If so, which sippy cup would you recommend? TIA! :)

Yes you can. That's exactly what I did with my first-born. My kid loved the Oxo Tot Sippy cup - I'm pretty sure redmart.com has it.

everytime after finishing her milk, she would cry as though telling me that she not enough. but few seconds later when I carry her to burp, she ok n keep quiet. why is this so? this happens since about 3 months old till now coming to 5 months...

I guess she just wants to be burped. Take the cue from her. It's good that after a burp she is fine.

Which would you prefer? Thumb or pacifier? I'm not a fan of pacifier and my son grew up without one. But my daughter seems to love her thumb a lot!

I would rather my child use the pacifier. Sucking of thumb is not healthy and might subject lo to germs and dirt. Plus to wean off lo, just need to remove pacifier so it will be easier.
