My nipples have turned sore from breastfeeding. Any remedy to heal them? My lo is 3 months old and I have to exclusively breastfeed her.

may i know how to thaw frozen bm? some say just leave in normal fridge overnight..but when will it fully thaw? as we need to keep track to use within 24hours...is there any fastest way to thaw bm?

I usually thaw frozen BM by placing the BM bag in hot water to be served immediately to my LO.

Will my ss be affected if I drag my pump time from 3 to 4 hourly? TIA!

for me.. it does not affect much as it is just 1 hr differ. ^_^

For those of you who latch, do you let baby rotate sides every 5 mins? My baby is 6 weeks old. The polyclinic nurse told me to rotate sides every 5mins.....I thought we are supported to nurse on one side since mature milk would have kicked in by now???

Hey Mummy, i heard from a lactation consultant from KKH that dont have to change sides every 5 min. Only change side at the next feeding:)

Can I use ventolin inhaler when breastfeeding?

Yes you can. My best friend gets bad asthma attacks and she has used it on several occasions post pregnancy when she was still nursing. I don't think she pumped and dumped. Reckon her doctor gave her the go ahead.

I am exclusively pumping for my 25 month old and 7 month old daughters. I was just told that pumping results to tissue damage. How true is this and how must I go about EPing until my youngest reaches 2 years old to prevent this issue?

I'm not quite sure if pumping damages tissue. But I know lots of mommy friends who pump regularly, and from what I know, they never complained any serious illness or injuries in connection to pumping. That might mean long term pumping is just ok.

Mummies , i would like to ask .. Whether munchkins latch swiss bottle or tommy tippee bottle will let my 3 months plus girl to accept .. As i try to feed her wit the bottle which i use to store my breastmilk, but she rejected.. The first day of work , i go work and she cried so badly after some time she rejected the milk bottle.. Or isit because my mil dunno hw to handle my girl? Bt im looking for a bottle that can let her accept while i stil can breastfeed my girl..

How to increase milk supply

Can try Dried Red Dates, Dried Longan, Wolfberry, Fenugreek and Rock Sugar. Boil everything for 30mins and drink it. It works for me!!

Anyone tried breastmilk bath on your LO? Please share on how much BM u used for each bath and how? TIA!

I used about 8 milk bags and mixed with a lil bit of warm water. Then rinse baby off as per normal. :)

What actually happens if your baby drinks post-alcohol (significant amount, like hangover worthy type) breastmilk?

It's not good but I doubt it would do lasting damage. Anybody who is going to drink a lot should "pump and dump" the next feed, and feed baby with stored milk/formula.
