Hi Mummies, pls share tips to stop breastfeeding. I decided to wean off when lo turns 1. I tried to stop pumping and latching for 2 days now, and as a result, im having fever? What should i do? TIA

Is there an issue thawing frozen breast milk by soaking in hot water? the milk is stored in either pigeon / Philips avent / Lansinoh storage bags. Is it ok if the water is freshly boiled? Or should it just be hot and not freshly boiled? Worried about the plastics.

you can thaw them in about 3 minutes by running the packets under tap water.

My 13 months lo latches to sleep every night and still wakes up every 2-3 hrs during the night to latch / comfort latch. First time, I am going away without Lo for a few days in 2 weeks time and I wonder how do mummies cope with this? When I'm away, my helper or mil should be the one taking care of him. Any experiences shared is deeply appreciated.

Simple wishes is really good as it can be adjustable. So when it gets too loose with multiple washing, you can adjust it to make a good fit again.

My daughter is about 7m old and she's refusing to latch now. Every time I try to latch her, she will scream the house down but she will willingly take the bottle. Is there anyway I can latch her again? I feel so upset every time she cries at my boob.

same here!! that back arching, pushing away, crying, and screaming! keep trying (and pumping). don't force her to take the breast, it will worsen the nursing strike. hopefully my 7MO can return to normal >.

nursing strike- is this common in 7MO? for the past 3 days, my boy refused to nurse for 1-2 feedings. the struggle was intense, he would cry and push away the breasts. I had to bottle feed him with EBM.

Have you recently started work? It happens when you stop spending the same amount of time with bb.
