Today is my first day back to work. Im using freemie but was disappointed with the results which was 155ml for 30mins but breast still feeling not empty. So decided to hand express on my next round pump which got me 240ml at 40mins. Felt freemie not suitable for me... shd i try few more rounds? Also if its okay to put the unwashed pump parts in ziplock bag in fridge for the next round pump? Anyadvice?

Freemie did not work that great for me either - so I stuck to using my spectra. I also did place unwashed pump parts in the zip lock bag for the next pump.

Thinking to switch bm to formula/fresh goat milk. My LO is 1year old now. Any nutrition from goat milk is lack of compare with breastmilk? What supplement/food should I give her more after switching to goat milk?

Any breastfeeding mummies can share your story? Especially direct latch ur baby. How you stop breastfeeding? When? What milk for baby after bm? Thanks :)

Based on a friend who shared with me her experience. She let baby bf till baby didnt want anymore. As for me i plan to let baby wean off on his own. As time passes baby should be latching lesser for feeds as they be taking solid food in time. If there is no other concerns you may want to consider letting baby wean off on his own. Just my 2 cents.

Hey mummies.. Im thinking of getting a freemie and hack to my spectra 9+. Do i just buy the cups only or i still have to buy the whole set? Any reviews on freemie is appreciated too. Thanks!!

I used freemie with medela pump. But I have both sets. I think you can just get the cups? Try first? Mechanics wise, it's just like any other pump, bend forward too much and it will bottleneck the tubing

My LO been latching for 6hrs on and off. And my husband say maybe he is not even drinking or u have no milk? So he try giving him formula and he drink it up all and have a nice and good sleep. I feel so sad about not providing him breastmilk. Anyone have the same experience? He is only 2 weeks and 1 day old. Whenever he latch on, he will give a weird sound and push away my breast. But sometimes he seem to drink.

I'm 5 days post partum, is 25ml for first pump expression considered low supply??

Congratulations!! And 25mk for first pump is actually a lot!! It is only the first pump so usually the amount is not a lot. I think mine for both sides was about 25ml for the first time too. Continue to latch or pump often like every 3hours. Massage your breasts with a warm towel before pumping and the milk will come easier. Good luck!!

My LO is 5mths old. I'm currently not working so I DL her. Whenever I latch her, I feel that my boobs are soft and not full. However, I feel that she is sucking n swallowing. She drinks about 2-3hourly. Is it normal not to feel full boobs and yet can last LO 2-3hours? I miss the feeling of full boobs. What I can do to feel fuller?

I don't know if I have any milk supply. My LO has been latching on but he doesn't seem full after 3 to 4 times latching about 5 to 10mins apart. So I will give my LO formula because he is so hungry. My LO is 2 weeks old and he usually need to intake 60ml formula. I really thought of giving up breastfeeding. I am depress...

Totally understand how u feel! I went thru the same thing.. my bb is a milk Monster ! Haha ! It may be that bb finds it more difficult to suckle from the breast as compared to bottle ( due to being very young) it will get better. Jiayou

How to stop breastfeeding? LO is 13months now. Her solids is not eating well. Only few bites then ask for milk. Will wake up 4-5 times ask for nen nen too =.=" want to stop soon as really tired. I'm direct latch her after quit my job 3 months ago. Now she refuse to drink bottle. Any idea?

Hi Mummy, Since she is unable to eat solids well, try not to cut the breastmilk away as it's the source of food for her now. Try to find alternative food ideas? Or maybe you share the types of solid she is eating now? As for the night feeds, it's true with DL, the night feeds can be a little horrible. At 19mo, my son is still waking up non stop for that comfort latch or milk feeds. As for the bottle feeding wise, the kids knows that when mommy is around, i don't need bottle. They will go right to the source.
