Today my 2 week old stay awake from 7am to 2 pm with half an hour latching interval. She was wide awake and only close her eyes when on the breast. We fed her 30 ml FM around 2 to get her to sleep. And she slept throughout the afternoon about 6 hours with one 15 mins latching after 4 hours. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

Yes it is pretty normal Baby is still so new to the world. take it easy and follow babies cues.

Does the hakka pump wear off? I use to be able to collect 150ml while latching. Now barely 50ml. Have to manual hand express after tt.

I will be going back to work soon and my 2 mth old LO is starting IFC in a weeks' time but i still can't bottlefeed him no matter how i try. Tough for me, i'm the only one at home with him on weekdays, so i guess he'd rather go for the "real stuff" and will cry the whole house down when offered a bottle. Husb does help over the weekends but his patience level is super low that when LO starts crying, he asked to quickly offer the breasts. Any mummies successfully bottlefeed baby all by yourself? Can share your experience and tips? Thanks, Worried Mummy

Hi mummies, may I know what kind of Milo to drink to boost milk supply ? Those from the tin , or 3-1 or 2-1 with calcium sackets ? Thanks

My 7mth young baby is sick and fever for the 6th day...he's exclusively breastfed..breastfed babies fall sick less often and even if so, gets well faster. But my baby is still quite sick and kept coughing until vomit many many times and lost half a kg in 3 days..I'm feeling so upset and discouraged that my milk is not helping him...is my milk not providing him enough antibodies and nutrients?:(

don't doubt yourself. my boy is exclusive bf as well. but he keeps falling sick and ended up in the hospital. it depends on the family medical history too.

Carla, you should try the Hakka pump. it's really handy. It's cheap too :)

Hi mumies, I just gave birth 1 month and i have problem nowadays, fart a lot and very smell, not feel comfortable, is it normal for woman after giving birth?

I am breastfeeding my baby and I keep having diarrhea, will baby be effected as well? Cos I notice last night he was cranky and he will cry in his sleep and also keep farting and also the smell like want to "laosai" (meaning watery pass motion) what I notice is because I drink magnolia oats plu and I will have stomache and my son just Change his formula from nan optipro 1 to nan optipro 1 HA~

When I have diarrhoea, my baby always tends to get it too. I take charcoal tablets and drink soy milk, it helps to reduce my diarrhoea and baby's.

My baby is 6 months. Started ifc. Refused bottles. Losing weight. Will u mummies quit ur job and stay with baby till he's a year old? Or continue with ifc and as a ftwm? Feeling so upset now...we r financially "just nice " now. If I quit, hubby needs to sell his car.

Hi mummies I do store my breastmilm in freezer for the 1st 6months because monthly or daily baby intake will increase so im lost. Baby started with 80ml now 100ml and all my stash in freezer is 100ml and now shes drinking 130ml how do i pour or make it to 130ml if i thaw two packet of milk 200ml each 70ml will be left to throw cause she's drinking 130ml.i have seen alot of mummy store for at least a year and im confused how thay gauge as time.goes by intake increase.pls advice me thank you very much.

for me I just pump till the bag is full and freeze. if you have sufficient supply then I suggest just pump freeze. no need to worry about it. in that way no milk will be wasted.
