My LO has been fed with breast milk all along well. And only when we were outdoors we fed him with similac stage 1 formula. It's okay until recently when he hits 4 mths. We noticed each time after feeding his mouth is filled with red rash. Is this due to milk allergy and does it developed only much later? We didn't have this issues when he is newborn...

Yes milk allergy also can kick in later. Eg first week is fine till 2nd week then immediate appear redness on the face. Do check lo’s body also. If immediate appear then could be milk allergy. Best is go poly clinic and do a check first. Then they will refer you to Specialist to do a skin prick if confirmed.

dear exclusive pumpers, is it possible to exclusively pump for one year, or will the supply drop as the weeks go by without direct latching? what is your experience like? I find that although my pumping routine is the same, my supply is dropping, and I would like to find out if it's possible to pump for a long time. my baby refuses DL unfortunately

I was exclusive pumping for my first Lo and it lasted 9mo.

I’m running fever now. Not sure if is due to milk duct. My right breast is super painful even just lightly touching it. Can I still bf my Lo? My family kept asking me to not to bf and eat medicine and recently i took ibuprofen due to back aching and I suspect my lo is allergic to it as her whole face n some part of the body had rashes. What should I do? ? feeling terrible now

Yes should be milk duct. Is it red , hard, tender? If yes you may visit a doc asap . Do let the doc lo May allergy to the medicine after u took it. It’s ok to breast feeding still. It won’t affect anything. Must have a proper latching. You can pump milk too. Hi mummies, Sharing with you about a cookie that can boost breast milk supply. There's so many lactation cookies and stuff out there some isn't cheap at all. So recently I came across this cookie at supermarket and decided to give it a try. It really works. I took 2 packet and I have extra 6 oz of milk. Single Or Dual Pump On Spectra S1?

I'm using S1 for pumping and realised if I pump both boobs at the same time, the flow is slower. The collection is actually better when I pump one by one, which also mean spending double the time. Does this happen to you?

Diet to increase milk supply

Hi all i’ve been breastfeeding my baby for 11 months now and intending to continue for as long as I’m capable to but wondering if there are any diet recommendations/ig food pages to boost milk supply? And what is the average amount of milk at 11 months after a single 20-30 min pump session?
