Newborn sleeping hours

When is a good time to train my baby to slp thru the night ? Nowadays as he have jaundice, he have to wake up every 2 hrs for milk . I’m saying after his jaundice is gone .

Eventually babies will fall in their own sleep schedule. Mine start sleeping through the night at abt 3 months. Every babies are different.

Breastmilk per day

Is it normal that my 8.5 month old drinks only 500-600ml of breastmilk a day, with one serving of porridge and fruit a day?

my baby wont latch

Baby turns 2 weeks old last saturday. Now everytime she want to feed she cry cry cry and refuse my breast. What should i do? Im at the edge of giving up.

Do check your latching position is correctly? Can be your milk flowing fast and strongly. Do check lo has colic? Eg severe or persistent reflux. Try to stay as calm as you can, and not put pressure on your baby to feed. Try different latching position. & switch sides Try offering your breast when your baby is asleep, or very sleepy. And look for lo’s cues Try pump, bottle feed n nurse again for next feed

For those who live with big families..has this happen to you.. I don’t really pump much nor do I cook or open the freezer much..but happened yesterday I opened my freezer n saw my frozen breastmilk shaped differently..I asked around the house did anyone remove my breast milk from the freezer n my mum said she once found the freezer door was not closed properly.. So I have no idea how long the freezer door was opened to make my milk become liquid enough to change shape.. Would the milk still be able to be fed to my 4 month old baby? I should wait to ask my doctor but I’m kinda feeling lost now..

I would thaw a packet and do a smell and taste check. Keep the rest and do the same before feeding.

Breast milk During Outing

Dear parents I wonder other than having a nursing cover to breast feed the baby, is there any way to give baby milk? My wife express milk at home, we were thinking how to do provide it to the baby when we go shopping e.g go out for a at least 5 to 6hrs?

Working Mum Pump Schedule

I'm going back to work in 2 weeks time. Working mums can share your pump schedules? How many times do you pump at work? P.S. I'm afraid that my company culture does not really support pumping that often. :(

Is It Okay If I Put More Water In Formula Milk

My lo is purebreastfed for 2 1/2 months but when I went back to work I pumped less than she is consuming so I need to top up with Formula milk. Is it okay if the recommended is 1 level scoop (4.4 g) to 30 mL water but will make it 40ml of water instead?

For I think it's okay to give little water than formulae milk. :)

Tingling Sensation On The Breasts

Mummies who pump exclusively, do you have this tingling sensation at your breasts? It's painful when there is any contact, even with clothes!
