7 months baby diet

So my baby has been drinking breastmilk (occasionally with one feed supplement of formulae if not enough). So total around 1300ml a day before he started solids at 6th month. Its been a month now and for the past two weeks his breastmilk intake has been quite low. 3 cereal meals (mix with milk) a day and total breastmilk only around 500ml. He prefers water and solids than breastmilk now altho he is gaining weight well at 10kg but should I be concern that he is not taking enough breastmilk? What can I do because I am wondering if he just wants formulae now. My milk taste weird at 7th month?

You can try giving him more formula to see if he prefers fm. It might be the food you intake that causes the bm to taste different. Probably you can note down of the food you took and see if he’s ok with the bm. If he’s pooping and peeing well with a consistent weight gain I think it’s ok. Anyway you did added in bm in his cereal so i think it’s fine. If you feels that his milk intake is not enough, you can just give him fm (if he rejects bm) in his next feed.

Why not? The chemicals from the dye won’t go to your bloodstream or even your breastmilk. Is the nutrients from the food that you take that matters.

Help! my 3 weeks old baby has been latching on and off since 10:30pm. it’s 3:30am now. What’s wrong?😣 just when i thought it’s done, a few minutes later he cries asking for more and searching for the nipple when i cradle him and when i finally managed to cradle him to sleep, i put him down, his eyes are suddenly so wide open and cries to latch again. and this repeats im worried that he wont have enough sleep that he needs as a newborn

My newborn doesnt slp alot last time too.. as weeks passed she still dun slp alot.. luckily after 2.5mths she slps more now 😂

Do I need to pump and dump after I go eat hotel buffet?

Going to be celebrating my husband’s birthday at hotel buffet and I will most likely want to also eat raw oysters, sashimi, spicy food and so on. No alcohol though. I think I will eat a lot.. Must I really pump and dump and for how long? #1stimemom #pumpanddump

Any mummies out there that can share your successful ways of breaking the cycle of your baby always want to latch for comfort? My 11 month baby keeps waking up at night and always want to suckle so she can fall back asleep.

My spouse helped me. He took the responsibility for taking care of baby night.

accidentally ate confinement food that contains dom wine...

hi mummies, i am currently breastfeeding and i ordered confinement catering, today the food came and i ate the pork without checking what isit cooking with, and after i saw the menu it contains dom wine.. will this affect my breastfeeding?

I believe confinement food should be fine!

Whole body aching and chills after breastfeeding

Hi mummies, I am currently breastfeeding my 2 week old baby, but i realise I have been having chills and whole body aches after.. do i go see doctor?

Me too. It's normal thou! I breastfed 2 of my babies and I got sick (fever) and body aches, went to doctor but he say it's normal and gave me panadol. It's safe to consume panadol during breastfeeding
