Legendairy Milk Duette Pump

Hi mummies has anyone tried the legendairy milk duette pump ? Do you recommend and why ? ✨🥰

Hi mum, it’s really normal to feel unsure when choosing a pump because there are so many options out there. I haven’t tried the Duette myself but a friend said it was quite quiet and portable for work use, and you might also want to check local mum groups for more recent Singapore reviews before deciding.

Inverted nipple and breastfeeding - Anyone has this but successfully manage to BF your baby?

Baby has difficulty latching and it's quite frustrating to BF. My milk production isn't that great either. I tried pumping but yield 35ml aft 30mins for both LB + RB :( help please!

First 1-1.5m I used nipple shields to breast feed. Currently EP since my little prata likes to twist, pull and bite my nipple (she has two bottom tooth😥). After months of EPing, my inverted nipple became protuded 😅 If you wish to continue latching, maybe engage a IBCLC to help you? My supply only went up after 2nd month. First two months I was struggling to meet baby’s demand. (3 pumps = 1 feed) What affected my supply was that I was too obsessed with looking at the pump (amount while pumping) and also the constant lack of sleep which contributed a great amount of stress. Not forgetting the terrible clogged ducts and two episodes of mastitis accompanied with swollen cocktail sausage nipples. Each pump session was 40 mins per boob as I needed to massage while pumping. I wanted to give up on BF so badly. I then switched to a handsfree pump since I need my hands to multitask (main caretaker). My first pump with the handsfree yielded me an extra 100ML with 20 mins lesser pump time, without even needing me to massage while pumping… I have since ditched my BeMine for BeFree. I am also taking sunflower lecithin to prevent blocked ducts.

Hi mummies has anyone tried legendary milk capsules or their tea ? Is it worth it and if you are afraid of tablets/capsules have you tried breaking the capsule and mixing the powder in the water for drinking ? How does it taste like ? ❤️

Meeee! Err I just take the capsules on its own cause it’s not powder form tho, the inside is like herbs. I never tried dissolving them into water nor tried the tea yet so I can’t advise you on the taste. The supplements tablets size are still acceptable, just that the lecithin tablets are bigger. You can get the liquid ones (lecithin) if you can’t swallow 😊 It works for me but not very pocket friendly 😅 I used to have clogged ducts and prone to mastitis hence the low supply (3 pumps for 1 feed). Skeptical and dejected, I decided to try LM and if it doesn’t work I’ll just give up on BF. I took sunflower lecithin and the 3 in 1 bundle. No more clog ducts anymore and my supply significantly increased! I went from super undersupply to oversupply (I even managed to donate bm🥰). I am currently taking sunflower lecithin, pump princess, liquid gold and cash cow. I don’t like to stick to one type incase my body gets immune to it so I rotate them.

GD test after pregnancy

Hello! It’s been three months plus after pregnancy and was told by my gynae previously to do a GD test again after three months. Must I go back to my gynae for the test or can I go to polyclinic? Cannot seem to find the info when I tried to make an appointment. Also, is it too late to do the test? Now that I done some research, most website said the test is to be done around six weeks when we go for our follow up after labour. However my gynae mentioned three months. Thanks in advance!

That time my gynae scheduled around 2 mths plus i think. He did for me coz he told me since he has to c me and do pap smear as well thus i didnt go back to my endocrine doc 😂 i dun tink late got impact, chances that it could also be more accurate? I m guessing

Hi mummies. Any recommendations for boosting milk supply?

Drink lots of water/milo/longan red date tea, do power pump and regular pumping every 3hrs or direct latching, fenugreek and lecithin supplements, lactation cookies
