Hi mummies, I have a blister on my nipple. Its so painful. May I seek your opinion should I see my gynae for medication? Will it heal on its own if I leave it alone? How long will it takes to cure? I full pump and no direct latch. Baby is 6 mths now.
Hi, can i still bf if i am having stomach flu? And if i pump do i dump?
Is it normal for breastfeed Mother to skip their menses? (Exclusively breastfeed)
Hi, would like to check with u all about our baby feeding pattern. He is 4 weeks old n for the past 1 weeks he has been wanting to latch for many hours during certain part of the days either in the afternoon or evening time. We learned from the Internet that this pattern is called cluster feeding. Are our understanding correct? If it is correct, normally how long will this cluster feeding last? We are worry since he has been behaving this way for the past one week.
Asking on behalf of a friend: My LO who is 2 wks old has been refusing to sleep at night (starting from this week) and all he wants is just to latch on. He has been drinking so much milk that his tummy is bloated and spits out milk everytime i burp him. Problem is whenever i pull him away from my breast, he starts to cry and shout for milk. I will end up have to feed him again. Hubby and I is very tired having to pacify him every night. Any idea what could be wrong with my LO? Should i bring him to see PD?
What is a galactagogue? Do I need one?
My breasts feel empty! Has my milk supply decreased?
What are the potential causes of low milk supply?
moms.. I need a lil help. So my lil daughter is 8 months old now. and we are going through a new and exciting nursing hell. For about a week she's just not into nursing. First she was biting (but then he stopped that) but now she refuses the boob after 5 minutes or so. I'm covered in scratches. I know my supply has gone down, but she's still nursing ok about 3 times a day, it's just the mid morning and mid afternoon feedings that she's rowdy. any Ideas? I'm already nursing in a dark room, offering often, and wearing a nursing necklace. I should mention we've sleep trained so nursing is supposed to happen 5 or 6 times a day. I don't know if I just want to let it kinda dwindle down to no nursing or much less nursing, or what.
I've been breastfeeding my daughter for just over two months with no big problems. But over the past two days I've felt random shooting pains in both of my breasts. Not horribly painful, but kind of like *zing*, if anyone can understand that. It's happened before and after feeding and pumping. Any ideas what this could mean?
