Baby on the bigger side and doc ask me to control my food

Hi, I’m 31 weeks and baby is already weighing at 2.2kg. Doctor ask me to control my food. I always do takeaway since we don’t cook at home. Can I know what do you ppl eat/snack on? Dilemma now. I don’t have GD

nuts! I find munching on nuts help to fill the stomach and feel less guilty. hehe for snacks, maybe can try: - nuts - boiled egg (for breakfast) - tomatoes, cucumber (personally like it cold from the fridge, satisfying to munch on sth crunchy!) - "plain" crackers (I personally like Hup Seng kind) - fruits (not mango/durian kind, but like papaya, kiwi, berries, apple) for food, try: - lesser fried foods - lesser gravy (anything lesser oil = lesser calories)

Hi mommies, anyone has experience with Dr Ann Wright from KKH? Can share your experience? Thank you

Eh I know lah, Dr Ann Wright's name does come up quite a bit among the mums I know! My friend who had a high-risk pregnancy mentioned she was under Dr Ann Wright's team at KKH, and she said the doctor is really experienced, especially with complicated cases, my friend actually needed an emergency cerclage and felt very well taken care of by her and the team. Someone in my mum WhatsApp group also recommended her as part of the KKH high-risk unit, so if your pregnancy has any special concerns, she seems like a solid choice. That said, I haven't heard too many detailed reviews beyond that, some mummies just gave her a thumbs up recommendation without going into specifics, so hard to say much about her bedside manner or waiting time lah. Overall the vibe I get is she's more the specialist type rather than a routine pregnancy gynae, so depends on what you're looking for, if you're high-risk, she sounds reassuring to have on your side!

Wearable pumps recommendations?

Hello moms, looking for wearable pumps that are: - great to pump and prevent clogging (of course!) - hospital grade - have least parts to wash - silent to wear discreetly Any good recommendations? Thank you for the advice! #wearablepump #breastfeeding

Still in my third tri, but I have gotten jevonbaby breast pump, hopefully it will be good. can pump directly to storage bottle/bag, so in a way fewer things to wash.

Jevonbaby breast pump

Any feedbacks regarding jevonbaby breast pump?

Wah this one actually got quite a bit of buzz in my mum WhatsApp group lately! My friend Sarah tried it and she said the hands-free, wearable design is really the main selling point, she can just pump while doing housework or even on the MRT, very convenient for working mums. Someone in my group also mentioned the direct-to-storage feature is super useful, apparently you pump straight into the storage bag, so no transfer needed and zero leakage, which honestly sounds like a game changer for those middle-of-the-night sessions. My neighbour who just went back to work said the suction is surprisingly strong for a wearable pump, and the battery life is decent enough that she doesn't need to worry about it dying on her during office hours. That said, some mums love it wholeheartedly while a few had some reservations comparing it against Spectra, so I think it really depends on whether the portability factor matters more to you than raw pumping power. If you're an on-the-go mum who hates fussing with bottles and tubes, sounds like it could be worth considering lah!
