Studying in third trimester/during maternity leave

Hi all, I will have to complete my Masters along the pregnancy and I am aware it’s gonna be tough since I am also working part-time….. I am thinking of either taking : 1) 2 modules in the third trimester, 2 electives during maternity leave or 2) 1 module in the third trimester, 1 module + 2 electives during maternity leave I’ve been debating in my head and cannot come to a decision. Any mums / fresh mums with any advice? I’m currently in my second trimester with my first child so…..I have insufficient experience as you can tell……so advice on the above options with be helpful!

suggest option 1 so that you can have more time and space to enjoy your newborn, learn to care for your baby and rest and recover!

Solution on Headache and backache

Hi mummies, I am in my 4 month now and having constant headache and backache almost everyday. Any advice to relieve the symptom? 🥲

Having headaches too and asking hubby to press my head for me, usually when I lie on one side for too long. For backache I watched YouTube videos online on pregnancy posture and it helped me. Going to Physio as well for advice on my posture.

I learned about my pregnancy late. At 12 weeks 6 days as per doctor to be exact. I worry cus i havent been taking any vitamins for the whole 1st trimester :((( can give advice? #1stimemom #worried

multivitamin and Dha are to be taken after 12 weeks. so don't worry start taking from now.

Kkh subsidies. Is it a norm to pay a medical fee to kkh when doing up on maternity insurance plan?

My gynae directed me to medical reporting unit to submit the insurance form for completion. However they came back asking to pay a fee $147 for the release of medical information to insurance provider. But the checklist from the plan is basically a yes or no question. I don't get why I need to pay this fee to kkh for them to release the medical information when it's just a yes or no checkbox. Is this a norm?,

yup. this is normal but usually insurance company will reimburse you this amount back, you can check with your agent

Im at 13 weeks now but have not listened to our baby’s heartbeat before. When do kkh usually let is hear it?

4 mo preggie and getting frequent wind and diarrhea. Is this normal? Or do I need to see the doctor?

See a doctor to get treated for diarrhoea as it will dehydrate your body which is harmful for your pregnancy! Remember to drink up more water to stay hydrated.

Hello, FTM here. I'm at 15weeks now and I have vaginal itching. I went to gynae to check if I have any bacterial infection but results came out negative. I'm guessing it might just be hormones that's making my vulva area itchy. Anyone has any recommendations on how to relief these itch? It keeps me up all night sometimes.

I used ts6, feminine wash. works well for me. sold at Watson's
