My toddler doesn't poop every day, its 3 or 4 days later. Is it normal?

I totally understand the worry, because I went through the same thing with my second child when she was around that age and I kept checking her diaper every single day waiting! For toddlers, some do have their own natural rhythm and going every few days is not always a cause for alarm, especially if the stools are soft and your child is comfortable and not straining. My daughter's PD told us to watch out for hard, dry stools, tummy bloating, or if the child seems to be in pain, as those would be more concerning signs. It might be good to bring your little one to see the PD just to be safe, so they can assess properly and put your mind at ease lah. Childcare/playgroup

1. Best childcare/playgroup age? 2. Should I send my girl to childcare/playgroup? 3. Full/half day? Any recommendations? Or around Tiong Bahru/Queensway area? Thanks you! Appreciate it 🙂

Honestly, for the Tiong Bahru and Queensway area, around 18 months to 2 years old is a popular time to start playgroup, it gives them a chance to socialise before the more structured K1/K2 years, and most parents I know feel the transition is smoother when they start earlier rather than later. My neighbour brought her daughter to a playgroup in Tiong Bahru at around 2 years old and said the key thing to look out for is teacher consistency, high teacher turnover really unsettles the little ones, so it's worth asking the centre directly how long their teachers have been there. Full day versus half day really depends on your situation, half day is gentler for younger ones still adjusting, but full day works fine if the child adapts well and you need the coverage. For your area specifically, a few names that have come up are PCF Sparkletots (a few branches around Tiong Bahru), and some parents have mentioned MindChamps and My First Skool nearby, some love them for the structured curriculum, though a couple felt the class sizes could be smaller. Worth doing a personal visit to each one to get a feel for the teachers and environment, because ultimately that matters more than the brand name.

Private Kkh Gynae

Hi! All mummies! I’m currently on my 2nd trimester soon to reach 3rd trimester.. want to know more about getting private Gynae.. any recommendations at kkh? How’s the doctor service? And also about HL as well. For my first born I took subsidies doctor and did not take private doctor and worked throughout till my due date. Doctor actually told me that if I want to request for HL I have to go through private doctor not only that but I also do need a break when nearer to by due date 🥹.. anyone who took private doctor please do share information and your experience below the comment.. would really appreciate your help

For private KKH, I've heard quite a few good things about Dr Seet Meei Jiun, mums say she's caring and attentive, which matters a lot especially when you're heading into the third trimester and just want someone who listens. Prof John Tee also comes up a lot; he's very experienced, and from what a friend shared, his C-section stitching is apparently impressively neat, junior doctors were apparently crowding around to admire it, which says something about his skill level. On the HL side, going private does generally give you more flexibility to have that conversation openly with your doctor, so if you feel you need the rest closer to your due date, it's definitely worth bringing it up early rather than waiting. Both doctors seem well-regarded, though I'd say just go with whoever you feel most comfortable talking to, since that relationship really matters over the course of your pregnancy.

Hi my Lo has a fever how do I reduce it

Fever patches all over (forehead, neck, back, chest). Sponge and don’t cover baby in blanket or thick clothings. I dress my LO in tshirts when she has a fever, just keep the fan speed lower and no aircon. Depending on how old is LO, offer lots of water.

My friend actually enrolled her son there a couple of years back and she had quite a positive experience overall, she said the teachers were nurturing and her boy settled in faster than she expected. My own girl took a while to adjust to her centre too, so I know how nerve-wracking it can be when you are trying to find the right fit. She mentioned the environment felt safe and the communication from the school to parents was quite consistent, which gave her a lot of peace of mind. Hope that helps a little, and feel free to ask around in the neighbourhood Facebook groups too as there may be more parents from that specific branch sharing there lah. Drinking water from straw bottles

My baby is turning 10 months soon and i’m trying to let him drink water from straw bottle but everytime i try he just bites the straw. How do i get him to transit to straw bottles? #FTM
