Recommendations to a Good confinement nanny

First time dad panicking over the thought of getting a confinement nanny in Singapore and was wondering if anyone has any good contacts to introduce? My wife is 5 months and 10 days now and it seems that a good confinement nanny aint easy to find in Singapore!

I really feel you on this, first time parenthood can feel so overwhelming and the confinement nanny search is genuinely stressful. My friend actually went through a agency called PEM Confinement Nanny Agency and said the nanny they got was experienced, patient, and really helped her wife recover well and settle into breastfeeding. I would suggest starting your search soon since the good nannies do get booked out fast, especially around the popular birth months, so 5 months still gives you a decent window but do not wait too long lah.

Hi, I am 19 weeks pregnant. For the past few days I been experiencing hand pain( fingers, shoulder) back, neck and my legs. It’s hurting badly. Is it normal to have this kind of pain during this time. And it’s like muscle pain, frozen pain. Please someone help me what should I do for this pain?

it’s likely tendonitis, the best way is to rest your arm in neutral position and don’t bend too much. do let your gynae know too

Why do I have bleeding? I'm in my 20th week and have light bleeding. Is it normal, it's my 1st baby.

Used to get clot and Dr at KKH said it might be old blood or either my womb is weak. Was given hormone tablets to take. Still have the same issue.

Swelling foot average which week? I'm week 20 (bout 5mth) but foot start swell. All the time I thinking is 7-8th mth only swell. Should I be concerned about any issue with my kidney?

It varies on individual. I had no swelling at all. Elevate your legs during bed time and try to consume more water and less sodium. I started sleeping with pillows elevated since week 5, not sure if it helped.

Feeling tired and sleepy at work

Feeling tired and drained everyday at work even when i sleep from 11pm to 7:30am. Tried to walk about abit at my workplace to prevent falling asleep but i still feel very tired and would want to doze off when i sit down. Im at week 18 now.. when i reach home i literally fall asleep after dinner and not productive at all to do my other stuff.

It’s hard work to make a baby. Try taking a Power Nap at lunch time.

20 weeks movement or flutters

I am 20 weeks since last sat. I felt some movement when I lie down on sat and sun. Now on Monday and today I feel nothing at all. Worries me. But my Doppler shows heartbeat at 130-145bpm. The sound from Doppler is confusing because I not sure the whooshing sound from placenta or is really a heartbeat. If the bpm shows this much could it be safe to say that it is a heartbeat?

My gynae advised me not to waste money on those commercial dopplers as they are not as accurate as the doctor's and we are not trained to differentiate baby's heartbeat from the whooshing sound inside. At 20 wks, baby still kind small for us to feel constant movement so don't worry abt it much. Typically gynae will only ask to monitor movements aft 26 or 28 wks

it’s safe and a very popular brand, many mummies are using it. low milk supply = not enough for your LO.
