Induce or Csect?

Im 33wks now and have GDM, last scan baby is big, my doctor say can induce at 38wks or i opt for csec. Anyone who have the same experience? Or anyone been from induce but ended on csect? This is my 3rd pregnancy, first 2 is normal but last preg was 12yrs ago. I am so confused if i get CS or still try the normal delivery. But scared also if i get normal and baby shoulder cannot go out, as much as possible i dont want vacuum to out the baby. Pls help and share your experience. Thank you so much!

Unsure about mom life ahead

I’m due in a couple of weeks and I’m having all these negative thoughts about hating being a mum, what if I find that my kid is a burden, husband not helping out and I have to do this all alone. Im sure im not the only one who felt this way but does these thoughts really get better when kiddo is here? :(

I always feel bad because i would scream at her. She is at the terrible two now. But if i compare her with other fren’s, actually she is not the worst. I wasnt someone who had loved kids so i didnt have my first kid young. The first many years of my wedding i just didnt wanna have a kid, i just wanted to travel more. Over time, especially when she was out.. i realise actually she makes me a happier person (thou sometimes still drive me crazy). But my ger sticks alot to my hb.. she basically can do without me ahahah. Enjoy the time now while u can! Im glad i had flew twice this pregnancy!

If you're looking at confinement nannies specifically, it's worth knowing they focus mainly on the mother's recovery and newborn care, meals, latching support, all that, which is great, though some mums have noted the more traditional ones can be a bit old-school about keeping dads at arm's length during confinement. So it really depends on whether you want a more modern, family-inclusive approach or are fine with the conventional style. I'd suggest calling a few agencies, being upfront about your expectations from the start, and checking availability early since good ones get booked out fast.

Feeling sick everyday !!

Is it normal to feel nausea but no vomiting usually if u don’t eat or drink plenty of water I’ll feel rlly sick like I want to vomit but it’s just nausea I feel sick almost everyday like nausea non stop when I don’t eat when I eat when I’m doing nothing it’s confusing I need answers I’m currently in week 6

it’s normal.. it’s actually a good sign that the pregnancy is going well.

How to prepare my first born for second kid? I am giving birth soon. He is 4 years old.

Any tips or advice will help! :)

show videos of older siblings meeting younger siblings for the first time, talk to him and continuously remind him about the new change coming. there’s also books to prepare him for it

Rash in 2nd & 3rd Trimester

This is how bad my whole hands and legs look, rash that doesn’t go away and itchiness super horrible, it gets worst at night. Doc gave allergic pill and some MOISTURISER cream which doesn’t help at all.

Hi! I have eczema prone skin and so far with this kind of rash, suubalm has helped tremendously. Do give it a try.

How to prepare first born as I am giving birth to second born soon. My boy is 4 years old.

Hey! Congrats on your upcoming arrival! Four years old is actually a really good age for this, they understand enough to be involved, but are not so set in their ways that change feels threatening. A lot of mums I know found it helpful to let the older one "help" with baby things early on, like choosing a soft toy for the baby or sitting in during bump check-ups, so they feel included rather than replaced. Some mums swear by reading simple big-sibling books together to open up the conversation naturally, while others felt their child understood better just through honest, straightforward chats about what to expect (less crying, more changes to routine than they expected, honestly). My neighbour made a point of telling her son that the baby would need a lot of attention at first but that his role as older brother was special and different, not lesser, and she said that framing really stuck with him. The main trade-off I'd say is between over-preparing them with too much information versus keeping it simple and age-appropriate; at four, short and honest tends to land better than long and detailed.

Water retention

Feet are swollen at 22 weeks, any idea how to reduce the swelling? Would compression socks help? Thanks!
