Bringing Baby Home

Not sure if this is a silly question😅 My husband and I do not own a vehicle. And I was just thinking how we are going to bring our baby home from the hospital. Most likely we will book a taxi or private hire car. Do I have to inform the driver that I am bringing a NB? Do I have to line the seats with something? Will the journey be painful for a recovering mum?

You can only take taxi (baby on hand) unless you have a car seat with you. And no, it won’t :)

Breathless and very easily out of breath at 27 weeks. Is this normal?

Hi mummies, FTM here. I am easily out of breath just sitting around or walking around or when i am very full. I am not super massive yet so idk if its me being unfit or its pregnancy?#1stimemom #pleasehelp #advicepls

When do you buy breast pump? What breast pump is best for working mum? My concern is that if I buy expensive pump and what if I can’t produce? Any thoughts? #FTM

I'm going to get pumpables as they have sales now. Also used pumpables during my 1st and it worked well for me. Don't worry about you can't produce breastmilk, just try first. You can sell the breastpump at carousell in case really not in used.

How to bring a newborn home?

I own a car and also have a infant car seat. However, I am not sure how I should bring my newborn home after giving birth? Do I put him in the car seat or carry in arms? Will he be too fragile for car seat? #advicepls #firstbaby #FTM

It depends on what car seat you getting. For me ill carry the baby on my lap with the support of pillow and of course seat belt on. I will be seating behind.

Gestational Diabetes

Hello mummies, I am currently 27 weeks and started glucose monitoring twice a week. Has any mummies had GD and manage for normal delivery? Does it really effect the delivery and need C sec? #1stimemom

You can have normal delivery if you manage GD well as well as baby’s weight. It affects the deliver if you didn’t control and baby gets too big(not forgetting other medical conditions caused by GD).

im currently 27 week 5day , and having lower stomach pain .. izzit normal ?

same here. gynae said its normal, just the muscles and hips adjusting to our pregnancy. but if it's bothering your daily activities, you should consult the doctor.
