want to ask for hospital appt do we have to pay cash/card ?Possible by medisave? How much per visit?

Payment question in the hospital

if u get referral from the polyclinic, ur specialist appt at hospital will be subsidised but u r still required to co pay in cash/card etc

Abdominal pain. I wonder if it's normal to feel pain on the right side or anyone experienced it bfr

Have you gone for your first checkup? If you haven’t, pain on the right side could be an ectopic pregnancy. Could be a lot of other things too…appendicitis, gallbladder problems, right ovary problem…if it’s persistent it’s best to get it checked up.

Also is there a tip to be careful during the first pregnancy, any food or drinks to avoid?

Avoid raw food, alcohol, caffeine. For me, i dont take any sweet drinks. Only drank water. I also ensure that I take fruits and vegetables everyday

Baby Bump and weight gain during 1st trimester

Hello ladies, I am 9 weeks pregnant and so far I've done one ultrasound when I was ard 6 weeks. Every thing seems fine and I can't wait for the next ultrasound scheduled next week. Anyway, would like to check if anyone already has baby bump at their 1st trim. I read up online and some said its mostly caused by bloatedness. For me, I feel my tummy has that tight stretch feeling and my boobs size has increased abt 10cm from my pre pregnancy measurement (last measured in end dec). I can see my tummy is super bloated like as if I've swallowed one whole turkey. I did abdominoplasty last year Jan hence i feel the tummy tightness. Would love to see a ladies here sharing their baby bump pics =)

I’m in week 5 and i can see a belly 😅 most of my pants are feeling tight already

Feeling nauseous all the time

How do you cope with nausea? What kind of sweet is good?

Ahhh nausea during pregnancy is really no joke and so many of us have been through this! When I was pregnant with my girl, I always kept some sour plum candy or ginger sweets in my bag and it really helped take the edge off. Some mums also swear by lemon drops or the salt candy. Try not to let your stomach go completely empty, that made mine so much worseee

Gynae recommendations

I’m at week 5 now. Anyone has gynae recommendation? Thinking of sticking with the same gynae for all my appointments. Alternatively, also in a dilemma if I should go polyclinic and get referral letter to save money 😅#adviceplease #firsttimemom

oh same, hehi read the gynae at thompson Tampines and loyang point r good. can try. not super ex too for a private clinic
