Confinement & post natal massage

Hi,just want to find out any recommendations for confinement food & post natal massage. Am 27 weeks now. Not sure where to find a good and reasonable price. . It's way too expensive

tbh, there's way more complaints over confinement nannies these days (esp those from agencies) than recommendations. I took my CN+postnatal massage+herbal package from PEM nonetheless. about $5k+ in total. confinement food wise, so far only hearing good reviews for TMC and Maternity Angels.

Vomiting Again at 23 weeks

Hi mums, Is it normal that I started vomiting again at 23 weeks? My vomiting stopped after 4 months, but nowadays I've been getting nauseous and gagging alot and this morning I vomited again after quite sometime, Is it normal?

some mummies experience it throughout pregnancy even. i’m in third trimester and vomiting too

Nausea at Week 24

Hi mummies, do you still have nausea from week 24 onwards? My nausea stopped when i was Week 18 but it recently resurfaced again when i was at Week 24 onwards. Its not all the time but it usually starts after my dinner or when i alight from taxi. I have asked my gynae about it and she said it is not normal and asked to monitor. She even mentioned may need to go for brain MRI scan but i hope i don't need to do that. 😭

It sounds very normal to me 😂. My MS only started at week 38.

Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ)

Anyone experience this? Im at 23 weeks going to 24. Yesterday i had a sleepless night. My jaw hurts like crazy and i just couldnt find any comfort position to sleep. The pain continuously on going so i woke up and google to find oit this was what it is. Did cold compress, apply oil on my shoulder and massage it but no diff and I still couldn’t sleep. It went through the whole night and stop only at 6am and have work at 830am. Have anyone experience this? Will it come again or is it a one time thing? 🥺

Hubby got retrenched for redundancy after announcing pregnancy

Hi fellow mummies, my hubby just got retrenched by his company for redundancy.. and this is after he informed his boss and hr that we are pregnant. his last appraisal 2 months ago went well so there shouldn’t be any performance issues. his company has so many PRs but they let go a Singaporean.. anyone has any advice if MOM will step in regarding this? thanks in advance.

You have to have solid evidence as to why he was retrenched. Better still if he has union or under union. Also you can try to call MOM to check on this before reporting pertaining this incident. There should be valid reason why they retrenched him. It can't be due to your pregnancy that they retrenched him. It is unfair.

Priority seats on mrt

Am 22 weeks pregnant and my bump is super obvious already. I also wear tight clothings to make it more obvious and rub my tummy often to show that I’m pregnant. I also stand in front of the priority seat to see if people do offer their seats but no. So far nobody offered any seats to me. Just feel so sad for the society. And realized that this is something that I feel strongly only after being pregnant. Because before I was pregnant I always gave up seats to pregnant women and elderly. So I thought that is what you should do and a norm. Being courteous as a human being with feelings. But everyone is so self entitled now that they don’t care, they just act they using phone etc. Plus what makes me disheartened is that those not giving up seats are ppl in 20-30s perfectly healthy adults who are not carrying heavy items , they just want a seat. Why should I be asking them for a seat if I have the priority to the priority seat as a pregnant woman? People should be more auto to give right? I think maybe Singapore or SMRT should increase this awareness cause I realized a lot of pregnant mummies are facing the same issue. And it’s also very dangerous for mummies to stand so long cause if leg to be swollen and fall risk! This is why pregnant mummies need the seats, and people should be educated on this.
