hi mummies who had their birth experience at kkh, may i know what the procedures for the pre admission are?

have to get an admission form from gynae, go to level 1 admission office to make payment. on the day of delivery, go to delivery suite straight

Can anyone explain the difference between the types of breast pump like the manual ones and wearable ? Can recommend ? So many until I am not sure what to get 🥲

Manual ones have to get bras that can hold or you have to manually hold the pump while pumping. Wearables you can slot into your bra and free your hands. I personally prefer wearables cause I need to multitask since I’m alone with baby so I need my hands. Used babyexpress BeMine & BeFree.

Hospitalisation Leave

Why is so difficult to get Hospital leave, Im already 36 weeks and working in retail is tiring and yet the doctor wont give me any HL even my MC finish quota 😢

PJ for hospital

Hi Ladies, what PJ are you getting for hospital? Better night gown or normal PJ? Any shops you can recommend?

I wouldn’t get PJ for hospital as it will be messy and you still need to bring additional dirty laundry back home to wash…. I wear hospital gown thru out so even if Kena blood just ask them for a new set.

Currently down with cough for 2 days. Any idea if hard coughings have effects on baby in my womb?

Coughing for 2 days

Won't affect baby but definitely will hurt your tummy like cramp because of the constant cough. Try to take Prospan Cough Syrup.

Coughing and flu during week 34 , is it okay and what should I eat

Sick and baby is active

I too have slight cough and flu. Its common for us pregnant mummies as we have low immune but with a flu jap all, should be not more problematic. I just eat as per normal but do drink water a lot. It does help of all this.

Levy for confinement nanny

Hi, I’m getting freelance confinement nanny from Malaysia. Is there any levy to pay when apply for the work permit?

Hi mommies. I’m curious to know. What is the best milk bottle for babies? Is Hegen good? Or issit famous just cos of trend ? Please help

Hegen didn’t work that well for my baby (she takes very long to drink even tho the teat was fast enough), and the cap failed me many times.. low supply and when the cap detaches, there goes my milk. (Luckily bottle was a free gift from insurance) I’ve tried Hegen, Dr Brown, MAM, Tommee Tippee and Avent. No rejections for all but I still prefer Avent (using Avent Natural). Ultimately it’s up to your baby’s acceptance.

Bleeding at 34 weeks

Hi mummies! Wondering if anyone has experienced bleeding in 3rd trimester? It was just a one off event for myself, but I can still feel baby movement quite regularly.
