Diarrhoea at 36 weeks

I started having diarrhoea all of a sudden at ard 1am last night. Whole body felt super weak as if kept on going in and out of toilet, my stomach was the one in pain the most cos as i was feeling the cramps, my baby kept on kicking and moving around nonstop so it hurts extra and i was just very weak. now it’s 5am, the pain has subsided but i do feel the urge to go toilet and poo again and again. could this be contractions?

Nope just diarrhea. Im 38w and been having diarrhoea and loose stool since 34/35 weeks too and just goes on every single day. Gynae prescribed charcoal medication and also do drink 100 to keep yourself hydrated. I believe our hormones play a part that caused the stomach problem. And also might be something you consumed

Cramp on Post partum day 9

hi all, is it normal to have menses cramp feeling after giving birth. It comes and go. On day 9 today.

Yes it’s your uterus working hard to contract itself back to it’s pre-pregnancy size! It’s good news! Means your body can go back to pre-preg

39+2 and still no signs of labour

Anyone else in their 39th week of pregnancy and still no signs of labour? My belly has yet to even drop. The waiting game is making me sooooo anxious. 😭

Me! Second baby. Due on 9 sep, but i have yet felt any contractions nothing, just lose of mucus plug or show thats all.

Hi everyone. I've been having on and off pain nearly an hour. I have been feeling like Im abt to poo, a bit of menstrual cramp and tummy harden. The timing is about every 2-5 mins of each time. #advicepls

Which week are you at? Im at 37 weeks and feeling the same since last week. But they keep saying its just braxton hicks, cs mine only happens like once twice a day. For yours if you have a private gynae might want to check with them ?

I am currently 36 weeks pregnant. Lately I have difficulty in sleeping cus I feel like I cant breathe. I use two pillows and a neck pillow and sleep but it doesnt help. I keep having this palpitation aka anxiety setting in the middle of the night. Like I might not make it through the delivery of my baby. Anyone experiencing this? P.S: I texted my Gynae and he mentioned that its normal to have this breathlessness episodes

Im currently 37 weeks, i dont experience anxiety but i can relate the breathlessness, to the point that sometimes i cant even sleep due to the frustration of being restless and breathless. No position works. Sleeping on my sides is getting more uncomfortable due to the weight of the tummy.

What is the best vitamin d for newborn

Hi, i just gave birth a week ago in kkh. The nurse at there told me to buy Vitamin D for my newborn but didnt specifically told me what is the name of the vitamin d. Being told that i can get it at any pharmacy but im not sure which is the best. Any reccomendation?

My baby got some bloatedness problem.My PD recommended biogaia probiotics+vitamin D.U can get it from Watson,shopee.Anyway,no harm giving probiotics which will improve the gut health :)

Has anyone's Baby born with Shoulder Dystocia? How was the baby's recovery progress?

My baby was born with Shoulder dystocia. She is currently in the NICU recovering due to lack of oxygen in her brain. Any parents going through or have gone through the same situation? I just need an enlightenment on the situation. How was the recovery? It's my IVF baby after 8 years of trying to conceive naturally. And it saddens me when this happens. And I can only blame my doctor for being late during my labour and delivery. I shall not name the doctor. Just hoping and praying that my daughter will recover from this.. 😭

Newborn Didnt Poop

Hi all, my 5 day old newborn didnt poop for 3 days is it normal. He is currently on bf & also fm as a topup. What should i do? He is currently feeding on 2-3 hourly. Currently on nan opti pro. We switched from grow to nan cause he didnt poop. #advicepls

by right should be pooping every other day. but got normal urine output?

Taking Methyldopa 250mg

Hello mummies im 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow the doctor gave me Methyldopa to lower down my blood pressure as she Said my blood pressure is at the border line. Anyone here also taking the same meds as me? Any side effects ? #firsttimemom

Methyldopa is actually one of the more established options for blood pressure in pregnancy, so your doctor is following a pretty standard approach, that said, the trade-off most mums I know mention is the drowsiness and dry mouth, especially in the first week or so while your body adjusts. Someone in my mum group mentioned she felt quite lethargic around the same stage and had some mild stomach discomfort, but it settled after a few days and her BP stayed well-controlled until delivery. On the more serious side, a few mums flagged to watch out for things like unusual stomach pain or dark stools, which would warrant calling your doctor straight away rather than waiting. Overall most found the side effects manageable versus the risk of leaving blood pressure unchecked at 36 weeks, but since everyone's body responds differently, it's really worth having a proper chat with your own gynae or specialist about what to expect and when to flag concerns.

Sore throat yellow phlegm runny nose stomache at week 39

Is it viral infection? Is it necessary to see doctor or I can just let it recover by itself?

I believe this is normal. Cs throut whole pregnancy im always having on and off flu. And now that im 37 weeks, i always get stomach ache every single day with loose stool. Wont hurt to see GP but most prob theyll just ask to eat paracetamol. For blocked nose or runny, can try buy sterimar jose spray. Helps to clear the nose.
