What do i do is i loose my mucus plug

Had a membrane sweep yesterday and loose my mucus plug. Do i need to call hospital? As there is no sign of contractions yet . Only gaps of braxton hicks. #FTM

For me i will wait for contractions and try to have early labour at home. You might not be dilated yet hence if you straight to hospital, you might get induced or sent home. BUT always follow ur instinct… your body will tell you when it’s time! All the best! :)

Is this mucus plug? Should i go hospital?

This is my 3rd pregnancy, i am 38weeks 6days... Had a checkup yesterday and doctor did a stretch on my cervix.. at 12 midnight after go pee, this came out looks like mucus plug.. i dont feel contractions, jus a lil bit of aching but bearable... should i go hosp to check or wait???

Is this mucus plug? Should i go hospital?

Induced at week 40

I am a first time mom. I wonder if it is normal to be induced? 🥲

There's every reason why EDD will be till 40 weeks. There are people up till 42 weeks (which is rare). Every pregnancy will be different. There are mummies that give birth as early as 36 weeks. If this is your first pregnancy, it might take longer. There are some ladies give birth after their EDD. And doctor/gynae will suggest whats the best options for safety of baby and mummy. I was told to come back at 41 weeks despite the dilation of 3cm. My waterbag did not burst at all throughout the 1 week even with membrane swab at 40 weeks. Baby was fully engaged, waterbag so full. When I was induced, hours later I only felt contractions in labour after doctor burst the waterbag for me. It is very unbearable the pain. I manage to pull through till birth. All the best mummy 🤗

I am 36 weeks and having pelvic pain is it normal

Having pelvic pain

It is totally normal, your baby maybe turning head down and perhaps slowly entering the pelvic area putting pressure (engaged). You will feel pain and have regular toilet visit as well.

Rum and raisin ice cream

I'm at 37 weeks pregnant and craving for rum and raisin ice cream-only ate a tablespoon scoop. Will baby be OK? This is my 2nd time. Previously I was at 36 weeks pregnant and ate a tablespoon scoop too but felt hot and a little drunk. So I tested out again just now..felt a little hot but not drunk. But then again don't think the ice cream can make me drunk?

Highly suggest for you to not have the rum raisins ice cream. Sometimes, baby cant accept it or just your tastebud/body hence avoid it and choose other flavour.

Currently at Week 38+5 and i've been having fever, runny nose, cough and sore throat for 4 days now. Should i go to the hospital or just a normal clinic?

If u are having a high fever please go to hosp to check u & ur baby well being.

Hi I'm under sub kkh. I was wondering will there be any cervix check on the 38 weeks appt?? Cos by the time I went for the appt I'm already at 38+4 wks. #firsttimemom #pregnancy

Week-39 of pregnancy

For the past two days, I’ve been experiencing yellowish discharge; however, I haven’t had any signs of contractions. Also, last check up, I am 2 cm dilated. Does anyone experiencing the same situation as me?

It might be soon that you will deliver. If there's signs of contractions, mucus plug, blood on your pantyliner, you may call labour ward/gynae to inform them. Since your cervic already at 2cm opening, it should be anytime soon. Just prepare labour bag and the necessary. Unless, they ask you to hold on. Because Ive been in a situation where I am at 3cm opening, but no waterbag burst up to a week and requires induce to speed up labour as well as opening. 🤗
