Jaundice level going up

My baby is exactly a month old and we have been going to polyclinic for weekly check ups. The levels were dropping each visit but this time when we went, the level increased. I’ve been feeding BM in the day and FM at night as recommended by my PD previously. Anyone encountered this before? The level is around 140+ now and polyclinic referred us to KKH to do an ultrasound for his liver. Should I be worried or is this normal?

Try to ‘sun tan’ as much as possible for the baby. I have same issue as you. But jaindice level drop alot after 1 week. On FM all the way.

Menses after dostinex (did not start breastfeeding at all)

Hello mummies, anyone has experience with menses shortly after dostinex? How soon did menses came?

Honestly, from what I've generally heard, if you didn't breastfeed at all, your period can still take a few weeks to return even after taking Dostinex, because the medication is really working to bring prolactin levels down first before your cycle can regulate itself. Some mums found their period came back within 4, 6 weeks, while a few others still had irregular or absent cycles for a bit longer, which can be frustrating when you're watching and waiting. The trade-off is that Dostinex does its job suppressing the milk-producing hormone, but it doesn't automatically guarantee your period bounces back on a fixed schedule, your body still needs time to recalibrate. If things feel too delayed or irregular after about 6, 8 weeks, it's probably worth going back to your gynae to check your prolactin levels, because sometimes an underlying hormonal imbalance is still at play even after the course is done.

My baby is about 1month old.I notice that she fuss and being restlessness even though we tried to coax with her.My mother in law said that because baby stretching herself and baby is growing not coz of colic or what.But true enough my baby tummy is soft but not sure why she fuss at times and we did whatever we can but still she will fuss about until she is tired then she will stop.

My mom told me cos baby bones are growing so it’s painful for them too. So it’s normal.

My baby girl of 2 months did not poop for 2 to 3 days.

She is on FM. Should we monitor baby poop everyday? Should baby poop every day?#FTM #advicepls

I think quite normal for FM. Recently changed to FM for my baby and he only poops once a day if not once every 2 days. Nurses told me it’s normal.

Hi, 1 month plus LO drinking less milk and sleep less

Hi, 1 month plus LO drinking less milk and sleep less. Min is 30ml, max is 70ml, always drink til sleep and is about 30,40ml, after awhile when put on cot, wakes up and unable to sleep. Anyone can advise?

After ur baby drink about 30 to 40ml try to burp your baby.Sometimes they will wake up awhile. Then try to feed again.I am guilty that sometimes I will push the teat in and try to feed my baby again if my baby accept she will drink with her eyes close but if she refused she will really refused and I will not force her too much.Coz my baby is on the small side so will need to really feed her.

Hello mummies! New Dad here. My baby drinks 80m every 2 hours, I increase 90 also same 2hrs. How ah?

how many months is your baby? u can increase 90ml for the 2 hourly. your baby drink every 2 hourly?usually is 3 hourly feed.check any signs that your baby is still hungry anot after giving 80ml if not can gradual increase to 90ml.

Frozen breast milk allergy

Can bring milk powder overseas?

Going on a short trip to Thailand with baby. Can bring milk powder using the luggage 🧳? Must declare? #advicepls #pleasehelp

I flew twice to bkk (once in jul and aug), brought once in the sample tin (smaller one) and once in my ankou container. No nd declare one. I just make sure its well protected n wun burst out. Haha
