Centre principal refusing to give a normal chair to sit.

I am a pre school teacher and 8 weeks pregnant. My centre principal is refusing to give me a normal height chair to sit on despite memo from gyne to refrain from sitting on a low chair meant for PG and Nursery 1 children. She is insisting that I have to use the low chair or if not I can take hospitalisation leave or no pay leave till I am fine to sit on the low chair, when she can simply put in the older children class where they use the normal height chair. She claims what if the children comes and hugs me and something happens to me which I feel is not reasonable at all. Because of this I am on my feet whole 9.5hours and cause my calves and feet to swell and painful. Sometimes I causes cramps in my lower abdomen too. What can I do?

Dark brown spot

I have one thick dark brown spot on my panties, 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Anything to panic?😭

Constant random heavy bleeding with clot

Hello mummies, anyone experienced random heavy bleeding with a gush for a few episodes during pregnancy? I’ve experienced my first heavy bleed with blood clot during week 6, and was asked to be hospitalized with 100% bed rest for at least 1-2 weeks. Fast forward to week 9, there’s the sudden gush with blood clot again. Doc said there’s cases like that, and just need 100% bed rest for a period of time. The only activity i did was light walking, and no carrying of things except for my phone throughout the past weeks. But thankfully the baby’s heart is still beating well during the check on the day of heavy bleeding. Can I check if anyone else experienced this? Is this really “normal” during first trimester? Thanks! Attached image that might be scary to some.

I had on week 8 which was scary. was placed on HL for almost a month now but recently the gynae suspected it might be a cervical cyst causing the bleeding. thankfully baby is still growing

Possible to test positive a few times at home n negative at hospital for urine n ultra scan?

Results can be faulty?

8 weeks pregnant

Hello! Im 8 weeks pregnant. Going to see a gynae soon - is it normal to have no symptoms except for constant light cramps and as well as missing period? I had a very light spotting few weeks back but didnt think much as I wasn’t aware I was pregnant. thanks all in advance!!!

6 weeks pregnant and started bleeding

I am 6 weeks pregnant and I started bleeding. It started with stains and then a blood clot. Visited my doctor and she said I have a hematoma. Now I'm on duphaston and was put on hospitalization leave for 16 days. Has anyone else experienced this? How was it for you? I'm still bleeding and sometimes it's like period bleeding.

NIPT in singapore

Hi, has anyone done NIPT in Singapore? I am having my prenatal check-up at a private clinic in Singapore, and they have offered Harmony and Panorama as options. Does anyone know what the differences are and which is the more popular choice?

just did NIPT in JB at Klinik Hana for RM1300+RM50 ultrasound. done by GP doctor Malay lady who was very knowledgeable and polite. waiting for result. Read that NIPT can be double the price or more in Singapore, so thought it was worth a day trip over.

6 week scan: Comparing this pregnancy to my last pregnancy that ended in MC

I'm 36 and had a miscarriage when I was 32. We decided to try again in 2024. Here's a short comparison between this and my last pregnancy at 6 weeks. Compared to my last pregnancy, at 6 weeks I'm a lot more nauseous and have not had any bleeding. The last time I miscarried, i had bleeding and the fetus had a slow heart beat and my hcg was also low. I ended up mc at 10 weeks and had D&C at 11 weeks as it didn't come out. This time around, the fetus seems normal with Heartbeat at 130. Fetus at 3.15mm. I'm exactly 6 weeks from the 1st day of last period. And the baby is also 6 weeks old based on scan. However I think everyone is different and some may have a different gestational age on the scanning. Hoping everything goes well along with anyone else who had a miscarriage before :) and who is anxious about being older.
