TMC Anesthetist Recommendation?

Giving birth at TMC. Which anesthetist is good for administering epidural?

I was assigned Dr Chan Saw Yan, fast and good. 😄 He was pre assigned by TMC. But it seems like the pop choice should be Dr Yvonne Lim?

Not anything different in particular... But dun scare of start to walk as it helps in getting u recover faster... But of cos not extensive walking =)

MIL “taking care” of the newborn

Does anyone has your MIL “taking care” of the baby in the sense of jus carrying the baby whenever the baby cries or when she is bored and wants to play with the baby? She says she dunno how to feed or change diapers etc. The baby just cries for 5 secs and when I’m still trying to find out why the baby cry or trying to coax the baby, she just comes in and says let her carry. What can I do? My baby is jus 2 weeks old and of course I’m trying to learn while the confinement nanny has been taking care of the baby now.. But I feel my MIL is carrying the baby too much.. Baby sleeping peacefully in cot then no need to carry so much? And she is not really helping to take care of the baby.

Be firm and tell her to let you handle so you can learn as much as you can from CN. Tell her NO and or just stay in the room and lock the door. Sure she can complain to your husband, but in the long run, your sanity is more important. Make this a habit, next time when she decided not to ‘take care’ of your nb, your life will be very miserable.

is there anything wrong with baby being on FM only? I’m worried she might not be getting the best out of BM from FM :(

Having the same issue here :( feels terrible whenever baby still seems hungry after latching her.

Baby bigger than average.

Currently 37weeks and baby is 3.2kg. Anyone else have baby who is around this weight or bigger? Bit nervous about giving birth to big baby haha #1stimemom

Me too! Gynae spoke to me abt inducing once baby is 3.5kg.

Prenatal supplement for postpartum period

Should I still be taking my prenatal supplements (multi vitamin, calcium and dha) after I give birth? I am currently breastfeeding.

Optional but good to have.

spiderveins or?

currently 37w and just noticed these at the back of my thighs. what do you call these please? will these go away once given birth?#pleasehelp #firstbaby

It looks like spider vein, I also have them but much worst. Heard it might go away after few month post delivery. Not a concern for now.
