7 week baby STTN

I've a 7 week baby and past 3 days he hasn't been waking up for his night feed. We tried to dream feed him but he won't be able to finish his milk. Is it okay for 7 week old who is gaining weight healthily to start STTN? How do you decide what time is the last feed before STTN? Or just ensure a maximum of 5 to 6 hours window?

Similac formula

Hello mummies! Anyone has a new born and is feeding formula? My husband and I bought similac formula for our baby but he doesnt like it so we're switching back to bellamy. Made a mistake of buying the bigger tin instead of the smaller ones. Was wondering if anyone wants it. Please source for your own delivery.

would you like a tin of bellamy? I only used about 4 scoops. My baby doesn't like it! less than a month since I opened up the milk

Husband dos and donts during labour.

Hi, im due on the 27 July. This will be my 2nd labour. My first was in isolation, and i gave birth alone as my husband was not allowed in the isolation labour suite. This time around, I'm praying that everything goes well and I can have my husband to accompany and witness the birth of our baby. Since it gg to be his first, im not sure what he can do to help me during the process. It would be nice if you could share with us what are the dos and donts during the contractions and labour.

My husband just follow my signals. He knows when to stop if he is asking too much qn. 😂

Anybody experience heart palpitations after birth ? went for check up and doctor say heart is fine . #advicepls #pleasehelp

I really feel you on this, the postpartum period is already so overwhelming and then having heart palpitations on top of that must be so scary. It is actually something quite a few mums go through after delivery, and I am glad you already went for a check up and got the all clear. That said, if the palpitations keep happening or feel more intense, it might be good to go back to your doctor again just to be safe, since your body is still going through so many changes after birth. You are not alone in this, take it one day at a time and do rest as much as you can.

Real thoughts on out of wedlock baby

Im just curious on what people think of others who had a baby out of wedlock? Isit still looked down upon? but isnt it better that the parents took responsibility instead of going for abortion or abandoning the child?

Unfortunately our Asian society is still rather conservative esp the older generation. If ure able to go past tt or ignore tt then good. Personally I think it's definitely still better to go ahead and take care of the baby tgt, at least when the time comes when ur kid is big enough to know what happened he/she knows u took responsibility.

My POV, it’s their own problem I won’t comment so much and if I am the person, I don’t need any comments either. At the very least I am not committing a crime and I am taking the responsibility instead of choosing the easy way out. However, you cannot avoid unneccesary comments from the older generations so the best is ignore. Eventually when the kid grows up, who will go and remember that they are a wedlock baby 😂. As long as both parties takes up the responsibility, I don’t see why they need to be looked down. You give birth old, give birth too young, don’t give birth people also got thing to say. 🤓

Baby is is 9 days old. Umbilical cord still intact but seeing some brownish spots on diaper. Is this sign of infection? What should i do? During discharge, hospital informed to not apply anything. No need to sanitise/clean. Just keep it dry and let it fall off in it's own. Confinement nanny suggested to buy alcohol wipe. Can we use that?

alcohol wipe can use it’s just another method to clean. it’s probably just old blood
