5 week old deep sleep

My 5 week old is taking too long to go into deep sleep.. till then I have to do contact naps with her.. any solution?

hi mummy! is your baby not overtired? cos overtired babies have a difficulty staying asleep. you might want to check on that too.

Very active newborn

Anyone else’s newborn is so active at night? Mine is awake from 12am to 5am usually. Is it normal?

1 month old sleep

My 1 month old baby only sleeps 10 hours a day.. does anyone’s newborn do the same?

Same.. mine has issues sleeping at night especially. From 8pm - 4am we struggle to make him sleep

depends on what age your baby is. there are periodic developmental leaps which causes that, very normal

Urine retention/ Unable to pee after birth

Hi mummies. Anyone suffered from urine retention/ unable to pee after giving birth? I was on urine catether for one week and got it removed today. However, it’s been more than 6 hours and I’m still unable to pee 😭 Any idea what should I do to trigger some peeee. Really don’t wish to go back to the clinic tmr to reinsert the catether again😭

Drink More Water. I had this problem too. I tried drinking 3-4 cups of water & within 1 hr, U will hVe the urge to pee

How to make my LO drink all at once?

Hi all. My LO is currently 2 weeks old. By right she should be taking around 90ml formula milk. However, these few days, she has been drinking only 30ml each time and within the next 30mins-1hr she will ask for more milk again. We can take 1.5hrs to finally finish feeding her 90ml. Any idea how to make her drink all at once? Is it because the bottle teat size is too small?

You can try to upsize her teat. Sometimes when the teat is too small for them, they tend to get tired after sucking.

Infected Umbilical Cord?

Hi! Can I check if anyone knows whether my LO’s umbilical cord is infected? 😵‍💫 she’s 10 days old now. It smells bad as well.

Try to stick to wipe downs instead of bath until the cord falls off. Use alcohol wipes to clean the area and be sure to keep the area dry.

Pillow for infants

Hi. Ask for helping. My baby girl is in 2 weeks now and i am wondering if she needs a pillow to sleep or not? Just bought 2 Mama choice Pillow. Thank you

Technically, babies don’t need pillow. But my Singaporean spirit in me did let her sleep on a flat head pillow since birth. No flat head issues 😂 Now she just sleeps without pillow (she don’t like 😅)
