Superstitious or fact? Painting/Moving/Assembling of furnitures

Hi mummies, I’ve been told by my grp of friends that it is “pantang” for pregnant mummies to be around when your house is doing painting or even moving of furnitures. Wonder if this is true and what will it cause to my baby? Thank you! #advicemommies

Painting wise scientifically I would think its cause of the smell as its definitely not good. I was sitting around when they were using some chemicals and it made me rly uncomfortable. Moving furniture I just excused myself.

Anyone has seen both dr citra from nuh & dr suzanna from kkh? Or any tips for a muslim gynae?

I haven't personally seen both, but I know choosing a Muslim gynae matters a lot especially for comfort during examinations and delivery, so it's worth thinking about whether location or waiting time matters more to you. NUH and KKH both have their strengths, KKH being a dedicated women's and children's hospital so some mums feel more at ease there for high-risk or complicated pregnancies. If the doctors' styles and communication matter to you, it might help to book a one-time consult with each and see who you click with before committing. A friend of mine saw a Muslim gynae at KKH and said she felt very comfortable and well-taken-care-of throughout her pregnancy, which really made a difference for her peace of mind.

Pregnancy milk vs normal low fat milk

Just wanted to ask u mothers out there, should i drink pregnancy milk or normal low fat milk at my 2nd trimester? And what brand should i buy to drink if its pregnancy milk?

I would go for normal milk like Meiji! Maternal milk contains lots of sugar and it taste meh 🙃.

Is it normal for fetus to be more active at 22-24 weeks but less active after 25-27 weeks?

My baby should be getting bigger now but somehow the kicks are less frequent and not as strong as before when I was 22 weeks pregnant. It is somewhat worrying because on some days, there is almost no movement. #firsttimemom Should I be concern? #advicemommies #advicepls

Anyone has poor appetite even in second trimester? I'm 23 weeks pregnant with twins and can barely finish my food every meal...

same here. but mine is im hungry, but can't eat normal portion as my stomach will be easily bloated. so i have to eat bit by bit

Consumption of bird nest

Any mommies drinking bird nest on a regular/daily basis now? Heard many pregnant women drinking it. Some says baby will have good/ fair skin. Wondering if its really true. #firsttimemom

Cervical length

Hi alls, I have a question, On the 9jan when doc do a quick cervical measurement it was 3.5cm. And than on 12jan i went for my scan apt + cervical measurement frm another department it was 2.8cm. Anybody have similar experience? Oh im pregnant 20weeks +4days with identical twins. This is my 7th pregnancy. Im on vaginal progesterone once daily before bed. And now they up to twice daily. Thank you for the answer.

absent nasal at 20 weeks

Just went for my 20 week scan and baby seems to have an absent nasal despite my 12 week tests for down syndrome being low risk. Feeling super anxious and scared. Anyone experienced this before?
