Heart with hole and narrow heart artery

My baby was discovered with these 2 issues during our 20 weeks scan and we will be meeting the specialist next week. Has anyone’s baby been through this ? Appreciate if you could please share

Headache and flu

I’m currently at my week 14 and I’m having frequent headaches and flu. While sneezing and coughing, there will be sharp pain at my lower abdominal. Is it alright for me to take paracetamol and flu Med ? Also, is it normal to have sharp pain when coughing or sneezing.

Tingkat food for pregnancy

Hello mummies, I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant and I’m looking for tingkat that is suitable during my pregnancy period (not confinement). As my usual daily meals are food deliveries which majority are fast food, hence would like to have some healthier options.

Dr Paul Tseung or Dr TC Chang

I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant and has went for my first gynae appointment with Dr Paul. I notice that the charges is pretty high - $180 for consultation and $80 for scan. People has recommended Dr TC Chang. Anyone is currently with him and what are this charges like and what are your thoughts about him ?

TC Chang is really good. Very professional. He is damn good and really knows what he is doing. I feel very assured for each of my visits. Most of his patients are expats

Renovation loan

Hi! This is nothing related to pregnancy, but I just want to know how do we take up renovation loan? As me & husb’s pay does not qualify the monthly income they need. I noticed POSB & OCBC needs at least one person to have $2500 monthly income. Anyone knows an alternative route?

Reassess your finances. Chances are if u do not qualify you will have difficulty paying the loan.

How do I know how much milk my baby needs?

My maternity leave is almost up and I'll be returning to work soon. Baby will be at IF when I'm at work. Have been exclusively breastfeeding baby for awhile and only recently introduced the bottle. How do I know how much milk my baby needs because it seems every time she's bottlefed, she asks for more. The amount I give is based on this feeding chart.

How do I know how much milk my baby needs?

You can follow the chart stated subsequently adjust the ml/feeding gaps according to the needs of your LO. Once you are in the centre, you may wish to inform them how your LO are being fed. This is what I did for my LO that just got to IFC.

Low supply or cluster feeding?

My baby just turn 3 months this week and has been crying for a feed every 1.5-2 hrs, currently ongoing for 3 days already, full latch. I read online that baby goes through a growth spurt at 3 months but however, there is very little info on it. I never had a problem with my milk supply until 3 days ago when this ‘cluster feeding’ happen. Even if i tried using bottle today, my baby also cry for a feed in 2hrs 15mins. First bottle: 100ml. 2nd bottle: 80 ml. After this 2nd bottle, i latch her (feed her again) in 2hrs.

it’s cluster feeding and likely a developmental leap. what info are you looking for on growth spurts? it does affect their mood, feeding and sleep patterns
