Difference between private & subsidized patient at KKH

Hi Mummies. What’s the difference between both? I asked for a fixed gynae and they said it will be private.

If you would like a fixed gynae would be private which means he/she will be your gynae that will do all your check up from pregnancy till birth. This falls under Clinic B. Having said that, gynae of your preferred choice are subject to their availability, if they are available to fit in you during your EDD and check up (most of the popular gynae can have their calendar fill up for months.) If you are under subsidize patient mostly will be any available doctor on duty that will be checking on your pregnancy till birth. Which means under Clinic C.

Hi mommy , I am seeing dr Adrian , this is my 2nd with him. To be honest, he is a man of less words, and appt is only 2-3 mins at most so not all ppl are comfortable with this . Some prefers longer session. For me, I am ok with him cos he is very experienced and I just need to hear him say everything ok and I am happy with it . You can still take down whatever questions you wish to ask him on a piece of paper and pass to him on day of appt and he will answer them one by one (but quickly too) . So is really up to your comfort level . For Package , his package is 688 delivery fee is 2500 if I am not wrong.

Wake up feeling less nauseated, should I be worried?

At week 9, I woke up today feeling less nauseous, should I be worried? The last time I had a miscarriage, i didn’t even know until a scan at the doc. #nausea

I'm so sleepy but no other symptoms

I'm 8 weeks now and have no pregnancy symptoms but I sleep 24/7. I am almost never awake except to eat and pee. I'm so upset because prior to this I workout everyday but now I'm always so tired. Anyone eats anything to try to keep active?

Pregnancy symptoms varies. It can be nauseuos, bloating, vomitting, fatigue. So you are having one of those pregnancy symptoms. At this point it is just hormonal changes. Perhaps you can slowly push yourself to do a thing at a time like chores, light workout so as to gain energy and be more active again. I mean this take time though as your body are going changes.

Is it normal to feel aching on the left side of stomach at 7 week pregnancy?

Yes, it is pretty much normal. Do have cushion as a support when you are laying down on either side or seating down.

Loss of boob soreness

Currently at week 9 day 3, my boobs no longer feel sore. Wondering if this is a cause of concern? Any mummies are experiencing the same? #pleasehelp

it’s very normal. hormones are fluctuating so the symptoms can come and go. don’t worry so much

Hi mummies, I want to know if any mummies here ever experience bleeding like menses during 1st trime

I am curious has anyone experience having bleeding like menses during 1st trimester but baby is healthy . I experience bleeding for 7 days started little .. then increases in 2 to 4 day and reduced back on 6 day? My check up is only next week so I'm curious if anyone has this experience before.

Hi anyone feels back and thigh pain during 1st trimester? Is it normal?

I feel like back and upper thigh pain during this my 7 week is it normal?

Yes it is totally normal. When later part you 2nd tri, you can use maternity pillow or cushion when resting and maternity belt when you doing chores or going out. Do some light stretching to ease back pain and maintain good posture.

glass cuts/minor injuries during pregnancy

hi mommies, i need a quick answer i accidentally stepped on a piece of glass while walking & it lead to some minor bleeding tht isn't fully stopped/healed yet so idk do i need to consult a doctor? i'm really worried as i'm only 11 weeks pregnant & don't want anything to happen to baby 😥❤️

If bleeding doesnt stop then would suggest that you visit doctor to get it check and properly bandage. Might be deep cut that may require stitches. Dont worry it wont affect baby. But do visit doctor ASAP. GWS 😉
