I would like to recommend Dr Fong Yang , I think he is the best gynae I ever meet so far. Very friendly and helpful. Very good listener compare to other specialist gynae I met before. Highly recommended #firsttimemom #firstbaby

Week 18 and down with fever sore throat

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and down with a fever and sore throat. GP told me to take Panadol, I am so worried the fever will affect baby - any mummies out there delivered healthy babies even though fell sick during pregnancy? Pls help I am so worried

It won’t affect baby. If you don’t wanna take panadol, use fever patch.

Mummy/ Baby fairs

Hi all, ftm here 👋🏻 anyone knows if there is any mummy/ baby fair to expect in Dec or early 2023? Edd in Mar 2023 and wonder if it’s too early to go for the mummy fair in early Oct. Any tips on when should I start shopping?

I heard there’s one in Jan 2023

Do i have to visit the doctor when i have a flu? Is since sunday… is not getting any better :(#firstbaby

Do you mean a cold or a flu (influenza)? If influenza, best to go see the doctor. But either way, if it’s been going on since Sunday, good to get a doctor check on it

Hungry at 4am, everyday

Wake up at 4am, super hungry, cook noodles, hopefully can sleep. Now 18weeks pregnancy, jiayou.

Jia you! I remember being hungry all the time too. I ended up eating almost one loaf of bread a day for my whole second trimester. 😂

Yeast infection

Got treated for a yeast infection with cream and the ovule to insert. One month later and I feel the infection is back. I am soooo sick of this. I shower twice a day, maintain good hygiene for my lady parts, I even resorted to buying disposable underwear, cutting sugar significantly, eating probiotics and cutting down on bread because idk if it causes yeast also. I am worried the cream / insert will have an impact on my baby. I’ve just entered my second tri … pls does anyone know how to keep this yeast infection away??? Or is it something I need to live with during pregnancy??

Perhaps this might help to answer your questions above. The first pregnancy I had itchy vagina but no yeast infection and it took weeks before it goes away by itself. So i guess, if this is persistent and unbearable then seek medical consult once again.

small spotting @ 17 weeks, 1 day

saw small spotting, smells like blood and it's about 3-4 small spots... 17 weeks now... anybody experience the same? i'm scared :(

You might wanna go get it checked with gynae, just to feel safe!

Back rib pain :(

Hi all, i’m having back rib pains on my left. Is this normal?? I’m only 18 weeks.

This is totally normal. You can get maternity support belt, use cushion or pillow when seating or resting and have your spouse to massage your back. It can be all the kicks and moving of your little one. As they are growing, they tend to face have space constrain. First pregnancy I had ribs pain and there's nothing that can be done despite multiple visit to the doctor.

First time mom, when do you all start showing? I’m on 16 weeks, but i don’t look pregnant at all. I65cm, 67kg Worry if baby is not growing well. Next check up in one month time

Same week as you. I dont have any visible bump also. Some FTM only start showing at the end of second trimester.
