Hi mommies! My baby is currently 2 weeks old. She always chokes while breastfeeding. Also, she will have acid reflux. Any tips ?

i let my baby burp halfway during feeding before continuing again & then burp him again after.

Jaundice advice

Hi Mommies, my baby is turning 4 weeks next week. She still have jaundice. Any advice? Went polyclinic last week, dr say 100+ . #firsttimemom #pleasehelp

hi mummies! just want to know if anyone here drinks plain water daily during confinement? it is ok to drink right? and also wearing short sleeves shirt & shorts(with fan on but doesn't blow directly at me)instead of long sleeves😂

yes, i did. it helped relieve my swollen feet.

Affordable part-time maid or nanny

Hi, I'm a father of a 3 weeks old baby gal, and my wife is coming to the end of her confinement next wk. Our full time nanny wld finish her service by end of next week and we're looking urgently for a part-time maid or nanny who can cook, wash clothes, do some cleaning during the day while my my wife takes care of our baby gal. If u know anyone with a reasonable monthly rate just to tide over these few months, pls drop me a message here. Thank you.

I really feel you on this, the transition after confinement ends can feel so overwhelming especially with a newborn to manage. What worked for us was posting on the Neighbourhood mums Facebook groups specific to your area, like Tampines Mums or Sengkang Parents, because part-time helpers and nannies often advertise there at more reasonable rates. You can also try asking at your polyclinic or infant care centres nearby as some of the staff there know of trusted part-time helpers through word of mouth. Hoping you find someone soon so your wife gets the support she needs during this period lah.

Vaginal Pain after post natal massage

After a week of normal delivery, i had my first post natal massage. I had stitches. Is it normal to feel discomfort after the massage? My vagina hurts so bad after the massage. Before that it was ok…the pain quite bearable. But after the massage and after the wear of binder wrap, the pain shoot up and i have difficulty walking and sitting normally

Babe, you need to tell her you have stitches so she won’t massage your buttocks area.

Increase milk supply in which week?

Hi! Typically which week does milk supply increase? Am getting consistent supply in week 2. Wondering if milk will increase in week 3 as supply is low :(

Mine was from Week 2 onwards. I ensure I eat well, pump constantly to get the milk production flow increase. Otherwise as recommended have fenugreek, lactation cookies/tea to stimulate milk flow.

Full cream milk for toddler

I wanna start giving my soon to be 3 year old full cream milk as the formula she currently taking is very difficult to get. She usually have her milk in a bottle before she sleeps, how to transition her to start drinking full cream milk and maybe stop taking milk before she sleeps? any suggestion

What worked for me was mixing the full cream milk slowly into the formula, like maybe 70% formula 30% fresh milk first, then gradually shift the ratio over a week or two until she is fully on fresh milk. For the bedtime bottle habit, you can try switching to a cup instead so it feels like a different routine to her, and maybe move the milk to earlier in the evening so it is not the last thing before she sleeps. Just take it slow n easy

Fengshui Master Baby Names

Any mummies went to fengshui master recently for baby names? Went through the posts in forum but very mixed and reviews are not a lot on google to determine which is good. #advicepls

I really feel you on this, choosing the right master for something so important is not easy and the mixed reviews online make it even harder to decide. My friend actually went to one recently and she said the experience was really personal and meaningful, the master took time to explain the reasoning behind the name choices which made her feel more confident about it. If you can, try asking around in your own family or close friends circle because word of mouth referrals tend to be more reliable than random Google reviews lah. Hope you find someone you can trust for this.

Newborn did not poop

Hi! My baby has no pooped for 8 days after being on breast milk & formula (supplement 1x at night). Is this normal? Thanks

How old is your newborn? You might wanna get your baby checked. 8 days is a little too long for a newborn not to poop especially if there’s formula milk?
