When to drink maternal milk?

I’m 5W4D now, when should I start drinking?

it’s not a must to drink maternal milk. it doesn’t contain as much nutrients as advertised and it contains high amounts of sugar that does not help the pregnancy. best to just stick with prenatal vitamins, it’s sufficient.

Can you take both? My wife is worried as it may overdose her with the vitamins #firsttimedad

please let your wife know that maternity milk has a lot of unnecessary sugar that’s not required for the pregnancy, may increase her weight too. just stick to the vitamins.

Any Mommies sharing the same experience with me

When I'm lying down I don't feel sick at all. But when I stand/ sit. It's so uncomfortable.. anyone mommies experiencing the same thing? It's my third pregnancy and everything is so different.

Oh yes, you are definitely not alone in this! From what I have heard, a big reason for that lying-down-is-fine-but-upright-is-miserable feeling is blood pressure dropping when you change positions, so your body just needs a moment to catch up when you move from lying to sitting or standing. The advice that seems to help most is to transition very slowly, like sitting at the edge of the bed for a minute before you stand, and keeping well hydrated throughout the day since even slight dehydration can make the dizziness worse. My friend who had her third baby last year said her gynae flagged this early and just keeping a small snack and water nearby helped her manage it day to day, though every pregnancy really does behave differently. Third pregnancies especially seem to throw new symptoms at you that you never had before, so it is worth not just writing it off as "normal pregnancy stuff." Do mention it at your next check-up or call your doctor sooner if it feels severe, better to have them rule out anything and give you personalised advice.

Are mints safe for pregnancy?

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and have been taking mints (tic tacs, ricola, hudsons jujubes) to curb the nausea. However, i've read that menthol or eucalyptus may have negative effects on the fetus so i'm unsure if these mint sweets are safe or not. This is my first pregnancy so any advice from experienced mothers is welcomed!

it’s ok. i’ve been spamming it because it’s the only candy i can tolerate. as long as it’s in moderation it’s fine. don’t read too much into it

5 weeks pregnant with phlegm

Currently I found out I am 5 weeks pregnant, ever since I have develop phlegm with no cough and this is accompany with mild nausea. Anyone encountered similar issue and how to stop the phlegm?

it’s normal, excessive saliva. can’t stop due to pregnancy hormones and will pass after first trimester. have to just keep spitting out

It depends on indivuals. I had no pregnancy symptoms apart from increased breast size (second trimester onwards) 😊.

Is it normal being bloated and pregnant at the same time ? cause I'm confuse
