My gynae is Dr Claudine Tan. Anyone did c-sect with her? How was the experience, stitching skills and the wound healing ok? I’m more inclined to do c-sect than natural because my pain tolerance is low and scared may end up emergency c-sect :( #firsttimemom

how about epidural? do you know the c sect recovery is more painful and longer term..

I’m currently week 17 and I can’t sleep and I’m always awake, is there ways for me to sleep comfortably ?

You can use maternity pillow, have ur spouse to massage your back before sleep. During first tri and now at second tri, if I'm hungry ill eat bread or biscuits with tea/hot milo before sleeping. I am at 18 weeks as of now.

Hi im at my 14 weeks now , i started to feel cramps on my stomach, the cramps come and go . is it cause baby is expanding ? is it normal ? do i need to see doc ?

It is normal because baby growing. If you feel a tight pain/cramp, you might have to lessen on some activities/work that you are doing. I had that kind of feeling for my first and doctor say it is totally normal unless pain is unbearable and you dont feel right then you can visit doctor to check on your little one.

Hi ! im a first time mum . im schedule for adscreen antenatal diagnostic centre at KKH . may i know what is antenatal diagnostic for ? like what will they do .

This will be at Level 2, for ultrasound of your baby. Afterwhich if you are schedule to see a doctor on the same day then will be at Specialist Clinic C, otherwise will be your own gynae.

Any idea how long will it take to receive nipt results? It has been 2 weeks but still yet to receive the results.

The epi pain was very much tolerable for me! Almost negligible with painkiller 😊 don’t worry about it

Polyps at 12 weeks

Dear mummies… I have a polyp at my cervix and it bleeds whenever I vomit too much or when I force too hard due to constipation. I was on bedrest for some time as I was bleeding quite a lot in the earlier weeks. However, my gynae mentioned that I should be able to stop bedrest once I am in second trimester. Just want to check if any mummies continue to work even though you experience spotting due to polyp. My work involves quite a bit of walking so I am kind of worried. Thank you in advance.
