13 hour flight + 2 hour car ride during week 6

I just found out that I’m in week 5 of my pregnancy this morning. I have a trip planned for end of next week which involves long plane ride and 2 hour car ride (I will most likely have to drive). I however read that it’s not advisable to do such long trips early on as it increases risks of miscarriages. Does anyone have advice on this? #firsttimemom #advicepls #firstbaby

Having the same problem here!! but travelling week 8-12. Scary. :( How long will you be away for?

I’m 9 weeks pregnant and I experienced this colored spot when I wipe after peeing.Is it normal?My nex schedule for my gynae is on june 24.I take also duphaston since 5 weeks

Gynae recommendation

Hi, any has gynae/clinic recommendation near tampines? The gynae that i requested only have slot end june. Wanna visit a doctor first for some prescription to stabilise the pregnancy.

Dr Loke from Singapore Women’s Clinic (Tampines) is very friendly and detailed. Quite easy to get slot too.

I had this in my 1st pregnancy and it was so terrible. I'm sorry you are going through it and unfortunately, I don't have much to advise you except to ride it out. Eat what you can. For me, it was soups only and nothing else. You can also go to any A&E to get drips if you are feeling dehydrated. It helps a little to eat a biscuit or something as soon as you wake up, even before you get out of bed. Keep them by your bedside. I went to a fertility TCM and did some acupuncture too in my 2nd trimester - can try if you're ok with it.

I am curious at first tri, what veggies and protein can we eat. I'm having a hard time deciding

Veggies and protein #advicepls

I just eat any veggies as long as it’s cooked. Protein wise I prefer to just take chicken since I don’t eat red meats. However as long as it’s cooked (beef/other common proteins), shouldn’t be a problem?

Food recommendations that doesn’t trigger morning sickness?

Hi all! What are some of your cravings in your first trimester and what have you chosen to eat, to minimise morning sickness? Haha my choice of food depends on how I’m feeling every day, but on bad days I just survive on pregnancy milk powder and bread. Some of the more unusual cravings I have are: fried beansprouts and Soon Kueh! I’ve always eaten these before I got preggers, but I’m surprised I can crave for fried beansprouts this much! Separately - does anyone experience digestive system upsets during their first tri? I read that it’s common to get constipation but I seem to be on the opposite end of the spectrum (in quite a bad way).

I crave quite a lot of things but stopped myself from eating these unhealthy stuffs..

Does progesterone pills affect healthy pregnancy?

I had a miscarriage before, and was prescribed progesterone pills by my gynae during my second pregnancy, started taking the pills at 4 weeks (now at 6 weeks). However, gynae did not do any blood tests before prescribing the pills. In the event I don't suffer from low progesterone levels to begin with, is there any harm to taking these progesterone supplements? #pleasehelp #advicepls #firstbaby
