my lo has been coughing for a few weeks. it started out with runny nose first week, no see doctor. 2nd week went see doc then no lung infection, given nose drops. stopped runny nose and chesty cough in day . 3rd week, only at night now has continously cough. but feed milk then will stop. if never feed milk will keep coughing and sucking hands but still able to sleep. Doctor say is too long and need antibiotics if 2nd week didn't cure. but I feel cough is just ok, bb goes infant care anyways and hard to cure fully. ifc say if antibiotics, she will likely have watery stools and will be sent home. should I still bring her to see doc and get antibiotics for the 3rd week? I have tried all cough patch, onion patch, garlic balm, lemon bath, chest rubs. all no use 🫠 to me I don't mind the cough and doctor keep saying lungs are clear and she seems generally happy.

Does anyone have recommendations for a pediatrician who is concerned about child's weight? My 10 months baby weight is below the ideal range, and he has difficulty to eat the food (small eater). One doctor I consulted dismissed the issue, while another was concerned but did not provide any solutions. #PleaseAdvice #help 🥺

Hello mummies. How u all clean pacifier? With baby detergent? Or it is ok to just wash with water and sterilise. Everytime i wash with just water, water will always get trapped inside the pacifier. So i m afraid to use detergent, scare it get trapped inside and baby ended up consume

My newborn (5 Weeks) old hasn't pooped in 48 hours, she is feeding well but I can see she is trying to poop but unable to, she farts a lot but not pooping. Is this normal? How long can newborn go without pooping. Should I see a doctor? TIA for your help!

Being first time parents, we don't really know much and just listened to her. She found our new born baby to be drinking milk too slowly and suggested us to let the baby drink for a bottle with bigger teat size (we really didn't know). The baby drank the milk with weird squirry sounds but our nanny said it is normal so we continued. Our baby had colic afterwards because of this when we went back to PD. She also likes to boast and tell other people off when we don't agree with her. Lastly, her cooking sucks.

My boy is 1 month old & recently, my parents said I shouldn't wipe his face or shower him while he's asleep. I should wait for his awake window and shower him. But the concern I have is what if by the time he wakes up, the weather gets too cold for a shower. I tried waking him up but he's too drunk to even open his eyes. If this is true, what is the rationale?

Hi fellow mummies, I'm currently at weeks 14-15 of my pregnancy, and we're actively looking for a confinement nanny (for now)! We're actually in a dilemma about whether to get a maid or a CN, as the CN will only be with us for a month, while the maid is here for the longer term. However, a maid may not be as specialized or skilled as a CN. Any advice or recommendations from mummies who have been through this? #pleasehelp #firstmom
