How to clean and store baby milk bottles?

Hi everyone, I'm going to be a first time mum soon and questions on cleaning baby's bottles come to mind. Hope to get some advice and tips!! - After washing the baby bottles, where do you store them? - After using a UV steriliser to sterilise bottles, where do you store them? How long do they stay sterilised? - Do we have to sterilise bottles just before adding in the milk for baby? Or ok to use bottles that have been sterilised 2-3 days before? - Any special storage I need to get to store bottles? Any other tips would be helpful. Thanks so much!! #firsttimemom

2 month old routine

Hi! My LO is turning 2 months old in a few days. Everyday we do roughly the same routine around same timing (e.g. wake up between 6.30am - 7.15am, naps are between 1.5 - 2 hours, wake windows between 60-90 minutes, sleep between 7.30pm - 9pm). Was wondering if this is normal? Because I'm just following his cues and then adjusting a little bit to make sure he doesn't nap too much / stay awake for too long. I have been seeing a lot of differing opinions online about routines as some parents seem to actively wake their baby up (while they are still sleeping) at the same exact time every morning. Thank you for your advice! ☺️

How to pump breast milk and store them?

Hi everyone, I'm a first time mom and unsure of how to correctly store the breast milk. Do you put in milk storage bags individually everytime you finish pumping or accumulate it in a bottle for a day and store them? Should I store in the fridge or freezer? Is the breast milk solid once taken out of freezer? and if so, how do I warm it using a bottle warmer? How do I wash my breast pump? Should I wash after every use and then sterilise it? Thank you for your advice. 🌻

Do we need to soap/shampoo newborns and babies?

Hello mummies, do we need soap/shampoo for bb when they are less than 1 year old? I've heard people say don't need soap at all vs should use some soap – any advice? Thanks so much

Why my 5 month old baby sometimes doesnt want to drink milk?

Not sure why sometimes he can finish, while sometimes he doesnt want to finish or dont even want to drink. 125ml per feed and 6 times a day.

Very little early hunger cues

Hi! My baby boy is turning 2 months old in a few days. We've been having a bit of difficulty spotting his early hunger cues as he doesn't seem to have many before he quickly escalates into crying (late hunger cue). Once we pick him up and feed, he is soothed very easily though. And when I wake him slightly earlier to feed, he isn't able to finish the bottle. Should I continue feeding at late hunger cue (finishes bottle) or do I wake him before he cries (does not finish bottle)? 🙏

Baby refuse to nap in cot

My 1 month old baby slept well at night. I can easily put him to sleep. But during the day, is very hard to get him to nap. He will fall asleep in my arms and i will put him in the cot. But he will wake up shortly (10mins) and cry. I will have to carry him again and this keeps on repeating. I notice he loves to be carried to sleep. I am really tired and worry as i know sleep is important for newborns. Any mummies face this issues and any tips to get him to nap?

Feeding baby

Hello! My baby is almost 6 weeks and he is gaining weight steadily. We are bottle feeding breast milk and formula. I understand that newborns usually feed every 2-3 hours, and my baby was like that up till around 4 weeks. But now my baby has been drinking about 60-90ml every 1.5-2 hours (total in a day varies between 700-900ml). I'm guessing this might indicate that he needs more milk during each feed to be able to rest for longer stretches in between feeds, but he seems to be unable to drink more than 90ml each feed and would either fall asleep at the end of the feed or reject the bottle (and stomach is sometimes bloated). Wondering if anyone is experiencing / has experienced the same with their little one and how'd you manage? Do I move towards extending the time between feeds? How should I do so? Thank you in advance! 🙏
