I think I was checked on during the 20 wk detailed scan to check on the length of cervix for Low lying placenta . It’s done by the sonographer not the gynae
mine was checked on 37 weeks only when I was about to be induce for birth. (:
My OB measured only the length when I had some spotting during early 2nd tri.
