Agree with Nooraini, seafood is a good source of iron, protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Having it in moderation and choosing the "safer" options may be good. Personally, I would avoid the raw versions as it is difficult to know if the food preparation was properly carried out. If you enjoy raw seafood, I've heard that freezing the raw fish (but avoid shellfish) first would help to kill any parasites, making it safe for consumption. So you can try making your own sushi at home by freezing the fish for at least 24 hours first.

My friend had sushi towards the end of her pregnancy but only the ones with non-raw ingredients like egg, seaweed, corn, avocado etc and those deep fried maki (not too many though since it's kindda unhealthy). She skipped the usual favourites like tuna and salmon etc. This mommy satiated her cravings for sushi by fashioning her own pregnancy-safe sushi : http://www.salon.com/2010/05/04/sushi_is_kewpie_open2010/

I think it's fine to eat sushi (I did anyway) as long as it's in moderation. I had some because I was craving when I was in the 3rd trismester. Having said that, try to avoid anything that's uncooked because of the bacteria present in them.
