MIL introduced pacifier to my 1mo

Without asking me. I feel mad. What should I do? I have kept quiet so far.

Tbh, pacifier before the age of 3mo is easy to stop especially when she is about 3mo. I introduced my LO to pacifier when she was about a month, but once she hits 2mo, she started to reject pacifier. Now she is over 3mo and no longer using pacifier. Additionally, the use of pacifier helps them to soothe them, as they seek for soothing through sucking reflex, and help to lower the risks of SIDS according to studies. However, the fact doesn't change that your MIL did not consult you before introducing pacifier though. But nonetheless, you can let your husband know so he can explain to his mom that the baby is yours, you have the rights to choose what to introduce to the baby. My mom did not introduce pacifier to the baby without my consent as she knows I was against it. But soothing my baby to sleep after the first month was taking a toll on me (she sleeps at 3am or 5am sometimes and wake up within 1 to 2 hours). Pacifier helps to set her sleeping routine better, she only used pacifier during the 2nd month to sleep at night.
