Why are most or almost all moms are scared of CS delivery?

It is perhaps because majority of women still believe in the natural process of delivering the baby. My mother always told me that having the baby normally is the best way as this what is happening from the inception of mankind. There were normal deliveries only even many many centuries ago. So, having a normal delivery is what we women know to have been fixed to. And we go for CS only if there is real need for it.
