Nipple creams containing lanolin are effective in soothing sore nipples. You can also express out some breast milk and apply it over your nipple. This will provide some relief. I'm using Avent nipple cream. The best way is to coat your nipple with breastmilk and air dry for as long as possible. Usually I don't have any left after feeding so I need to use nipple cream. Haha. Applying virgin coconut oil can work as well.

Having tried on so many brands, I find that Thomson care nipple cream is most effective on me. http://thomsonbaby.com/for-mom/4005-thomson-care-nipple-cream.html Another alternative would be breastmilk!
I used medela nipple cream given by hospital. It is good. I was also told by the parent craft nurse not to soap my nipples when I bath - just soap my breasts but avoid nipples..to retain its natural oil
Medela, pigeon, thomson works about the same. Hence just get a cheap one to use will do, as you won't use too much unless you use it as lip balm. It's very good if your lips crack.
Actually it’s not really necessary. Use a little of your own breastmilk to apply on ur sore or cracked nipple is the best treatment.
Earth mama nipple butter or Thomson Nipple Cream. But, after I use VCO, there's no turning back. I only use VCO on nipples now.
Earth mama organic nipple butter can get from pupsik. Is soothing and not sticky
Medela lanolin nipple cream works best for me as my skin is very sensitive.
