Which are the first teeth that come out?

My baby had her first teeth when she was 10 months old even though she had been teething for more than 5 months. For five months, everyday we used to wake up in the morning with the hope of seeing two pearls on the toothless grin :D Usually, the first teeth to come are the incisors -- either the top two or the bottom two. Watch out for teething though -- it can be quite painful for some kids. Specially, the eruption of teeth through the jaw can be harsh sometimes. If you suspect your baby to be in pain, there are oral gels you could use on her jaw to soothe her.
