Hi! Just deliver my baby yesterday and we registered our baby birth cert at the hospital as we have the confirmed name. Registering at the hospital can save the hassle for you to travel down to ICA for another appointment however, it will be more costly to register it at the hospital. We registered the name via LifeSg app and collected the cert on the spot. Marriage cert is not required if you register via the app as the staff can access all the details via your Singpass app. Hope this helps!

Both also can. But if you do it at hospital it will be more ex. (Provided you have your baby name in mind) And no, you dont need your marriage certificate if you register via LIFESG app.

yes hospital can make and collect on the spot however it's slightly more expensive. they charge admin fee but saved the trouble of travelling to ICA

if you already decided on your baby’s name then you can do it in the hospital, if not you will need to go ICA.

you can use Life SG app to do it. or at the hospital. yes, you'll need marriage cert

Hospital better...before checkout. No need to go ica

TapFluencer
