Nearer ones will be nirwana or mayang sari bintan, lotus desaru, melaka, montigo nongsa batam. BKK has dreamworld or kidzania or ancient city or even visiting palace and temples, Pattaya there's cartoon network park and beaches might wanna stay in jomtien if u like laid back, Huahin(very family friendly) can visit sheep farm vineyard or different theme park like santorini. Phuket is also a nice place for kids, except it is very commercialised now. Can consider Krabi or Koh Samui. Another place will be Bali. If you like disneyland, can go to Hongkong or Shanghai. But im sure you will hate the rude people. HK is not stroller friendly btw. Taiwan is very nice, but for people who hate traveling around like taipei going taichung etc. You will be missing out, can be a challenge for family too. If you are up for it, please go to Cingjing. There's a sheep farm there! And the view from anywhere in cingjing is too pretty. If you have a bigger budget, kids WILL like Tokyo Disneyland. Well, as a kid. My most memorable place travelled was Disneyland and Universal Studio in LA. And also the Grand Canyon. Tokyo Disneyland. Ok to be honest, it was memorable because it snowed on this 2 trips
Definitely Australia. As flight are not very long and family friendly. What's more if you are driving you can explore more with your kids and also a good chance for bonding sessio as australia have many famrs and parks suitable for kids. I can suggest you Gold coast as there's are a few themeparks which kids love it and definitely most child friendly. If heading to perth its more of relaxing . But for Melbourne , you can either self drive or take their public transport around city which is free and you can brin kids to some musuem or zoo which is really huge to discover and taking pictures. As for Sydney you can actually have some scenery trip. Different parts of Australia have different things to explore ☺
Australia is always a good bet - nice mix of nature, city and all the fun touristy spots catered towards kids. Farm stays, theme parks, road trips are some things that can be favourable for young boys. I don't really have favourite Australian city because all are unique in their own way but I think the Gold Coast is one of the most child friendly places ever.
I bring my boy to Australia when he's 8 months old. And we have been frequent visitor of different part of Australia yearly. Australia is easy to travel around either by self drive or their public transport in the town like Gold Coast. Your boy would have fun visiting the theme parks and beaches.
My kids love sun and water hence our last holiday was at Bali! They enjoyed the day trip around Bali and see the padi fields and feel rice grains on their tiny hand! Holidays meant to be enjoyable and relaxing for both parents and kids! Plan well and any place can be a great for holidays!!!
We loved phuket with our 4 year old daughter. Outrigger Laguna Beach was amazing, the staff loves kids and has tons of things for them. But with the beach and kids pool being 10 meters apart, we didn't even need the kids club to relax.

I just brought my son aged 5 and 3 to Bintan, The canopi! They are fully occupied with all the water and sports activities and totally enjoyed it! Highly recommend! They even have mini ATV and both my boy played twice!
Hong Kong is a good place to go especially since there is Disneyland. The rest of the places are easily accessible via public transport and food are everywhere. Its really free and easy, save the pocket too!
My children love holidays! I think Penang not bad. Nice food and place. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and the kids can just have fun at the kids pool and the kids club for whole day!
