Honestly, there are two things to weigh here: your wound healing and, if you are breastfeeding, the alcohol passing through to baby in your milk. If you are not breastfeeding, most mums tend to wait until the wound has healed well and they are off any strong painkillers, but the timeline really does vary from person to person. If you are breastfeeding, you would want to be more careful since alcohol does get into breast milk. It would be good to just check with your gynae or doctor at your next follow-up, since they know your specific recovery and can give you a proper green light.
