Usually around 5 to 6 months when baby is able to hold his/her head up to allow easier movement of food into the stomach. Fruit puree is a good choice to start, and expect some rejection and constipation due to the change in food texture. Never introduce more than 1 type of fruit/fruit within a few days (a week to be safe) to watch for allergies. Have fun feeding solids- especially fruits. Their face expression is hilarious - have your phone ready to take videos! Have fun!
From 6 months onwards. Add more water to the rice cereal and mix with some mashed banana so that lo won’t be constipated, especially if he is solely on formula milk instead of being fed breastmilk.
