Vit D drop

When i was discharged, the paediatrician told me to purchase vitamin D drops for my baby if im feeding baby breastmilk. However if baby is on formula, do i still need it ? And do i mix in the milk? Thought of getting biogaia

I didn’t give baby Vit D when on formula as there is Vit D in formula already. I drop directly into milk and then spoon when she’s older. 😊
