For some, swaddling should stop after just a few weeks. But to know if you're baby is ready to stop swaddling, test first at around 2-3 mos. Swaddle with one arm only and see if she gets fussy. If she does, she's not ready to stop swaddling, but if she manages to sleep, then she may be ready to stop being swaddled. This usually happens at 2-4 months of age. Hope this helps!
I stopped swaddling mine ard 5 months when she started flipping. Her moro reflex was bad since birth so we swaddled her for a longer period. I know most babies stopped swaddling after 3 months. It depends on your baby, some really dislike swaddling and they’ll wriggle their way out. That will be dangerous as loose cloth may suffocate them.
